No real secret but now out there.  Forward support for Brownie nice targets up front.

"The Lions have reiterated their strong interest in Queenslander Kurt Tippett who is off contract with Adelaide at the end of the season.
The Crows are set to start negotiations with Tippett in the coming weeks but Brisbane have made no secret of their long-held desire to bring the damaging key forward home to the Sunshine State if no deal can be done before trade week."

Yes I saw this.

He would be good. Hope he comes.

Ziplock

I hope you guys get him, or you're screwed when brown retires :P

Honestly I reckon there is little chance he will end up a lion. Crows been playing very well this year and with all the other youngsters signing on I reckons Tippett will too. Future looks bright at crowland.

If he leaves the crows it will be for GC. Like Adelaide their future prospects look a lot better than brisbanes in my mind

Other than GC and GWS Brisbane have more teenagers than anyone in the AFL.

Things are very bright for the Lions.

Brisbane have 10 guys playing today with under 50 games played. I think that's what i heard on the radio today.

That's how many Adelaide had last week too. Plus Walker with 54 games

Docherty yet to debut for Brisbane, should gun it.

roo boys!

Well North had 13 a few weeks ago, now it's down to 9 under 50 games with 9 Adams on 55 and Ziebell on 54. The other thing to note is North only have 5 players who have played over 100 games, with Thomas sitting on 100 until today. So a battle of two young sides today!

Do not forget the Bartlett, Yeo, Longer, Beams, Karnezis, Crisp, Retzlaff, O'Brien Lisle and Wearden waiting in the wings as well. All except Bartlett and Wearden have played Seniors. Future is bright and yes after GWS and GCS we have one of the youngest lists experience wise.
Taken a couple of years to get over the mature age recruiting error but now looking good with 19 players on or list under 21 and Rockliff, Rich, Banfield, Cornelius, Redden just 21 or 22 and coupled with the emergence of Zorko.
Can see the Lions challenging for Flag in 2014 or 2015 when these players gain experience.
Tippett at 25 would be a welcome addition.

Could we be challenging for the Premiership in a few years along with GWS and Gold Coast?

KoopKicka

Certainly can challenge or the premiership in 3 or 4 years. The only problem being a key target up forward when Brown goes. Tippet would fill that role very nicely. (:

Tippett would be great but if we do not get him we have Cornelius, Lisle, Karnezis, Retzlaff and Polkinghorne who can step up and throw in the resting ruckmen of Berger or Longer we have targets up front.

Couple that with the three R's and guys like Adcock and Hanley down back and looks like future premiership material. If only flowering Port could now pull there heads in :/
