Hey Pieman,

I'll start by saying i'm no DT god so just my thoughts.

Hodge may be risky due to his limited preseason. Been injured and is alot of money tied up in 1 back. I'm planning on picking him up mid season upgrade if he's travelling OK, Injury and Tribunal dependant.....He jus makes me nervous.

Grimes, well lets just watch pre-season, The D's have alot of guys laying claims to that spot so watch NAB.

Good youngsters in the midfield, Masten well eact to there own, personally would rather look at someone more established. Would maybe like to see 1 gun in here, Swan, Kornes, ABC, Thompson type player just to sure it up.

Rucks good Hille, unique and who really knows who is going to stand up in the number 2 ruck spot.

Roo, well usually starts slow but no doubting he's a DT star, Houlihan is debatable whether he's best 22 but all in all looks pretty good.

Main thing is NAB cup form which is going to determine my DT structure.

Hodge i think will free up some cash else where though if your that way incline, someone like Newman, Shaw, Gilbee or Enright will alow you to still have a keeper down back but alow for an upgrade up fwd.

Cheers and good luck

Thanks for your input. I have revised my side (doubtless there'll be much more fine tuning during and after nab)

B: Hodge, Fisher, Goddard, Mackie, Birchall, Adcock, Grimes (Suban, Davenport)

C: Bartel, J Selwood, Gibbs, Bird, Coughlan, Rich (Swift, Beams)

R: Cox, Hille (Currie, McEvoy)

F: Deledio, Riewoldt, Houlihan, Yarran, Veszpremi, Lucas, Ballantyne (Sidebottom, Gumbleton)

I think theres a lot of value in the low-mid priced forwards this year, and as always, value in the middle. IMO the defence will again be the critical place where people will fall down and so I think it will be prudent to load up on quality there from the start.

NT Thunder knows what he is talking about, but you haven't listened.  You have left your forwards under strength in mind. Bird is a nothing pick as is Houlihan. There is definitely some value in the backs if you look hard enough.  You've gone too top end in my mind.
