All defenders under 325k are a risk at the moment. You need to find some extra cash somewhere and get someone a little more secure at this point in the season.

However, If you had to choose from shaw and grima, I'd go with shaw.

Had a horrible start to the year but seems to have found his feet. Also seems to be the preference for that quarterback roll with eski being dropped. Has been a consistent performer in recent years ( definately not this one as yet...)

Grima has had a few good games and his average is massively inflated of the back of good games against week teams. Don't get sucked in. He will be back around the 70-80 mark once he has 10 games under his belt. He is also no gaurentee to hold his spot in a struggling north side.

Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Agree with most of what you say Phiz, but I believe Grima, when fully fit, is locked into the North backfield and would be one of the first picked.

grima is tempting....

coming of like a 100+ 3 game average...but risky!

Puopolo is a standout. Slow start because of injury. Low scores early when green vested. Fit now and playing forward. A tackling machine who bobs up with a couple of goals most games. If you can wait a week (haw bye) he's the bloke you're looking for.

henry

Christian Howard (255k). Had him round 1 when he got injured, scored 87 last week and looked very good. Will give you a 75+ average for the rest of the season.

Do you think there will be much difference between Puopolo and Suckling at years end? If I trade Malceski to Puopolo instead of Suckling it will leave me with much needed $$

Bak2Form

yaran? 222k

average of 73 last year

started of the season well, then has struggled. could come good after the bye.

just an option, but risky like anyone around that price.

i remember him killing Richmond in round 1, he was everywhere.

+1 definitely keeping an eye on him
can see Carlton coming good soon
as long as he can get over his injury

Don't go taking risks with midpricers at this stage of the season. Your whole team should be premiums and rookies.

Manbearpig

Dan Connors is an option - cheap, can score high, and you never know when he's going to get dropped, but it's probably soon.
