I have eski and i have about enough of him. I really dont want to take the donut, as I want that top 100 finish and im alreayd looking at 3-4 donuts.

Im thinking either bring in broughton/heppel/adcock or wait a week and than bring in carrots (dont need the cash so wont wait a week). I also have hargraves.

What I could do is go malceski to nathan grima and than hargraves to carrots in 2 weeks. Leaves me with 2 trades instead of 3. I wanted 3, 2 is a little risky but could pay off.

probably go safer and hargrave and eski definitely have to go

only way i can get rid of both is to go nathan grima and carrots.

IM thinking of keeping hargaves though and just get rid of malceski for broughton/adcock/heppel and avoid a donut or just cop 1 and get in carrots next week. Unfrotunately i dont have the cash for scotland.

I'm not to sure of the problem you are facing. Seems like there are a lot of good names in the back line from which to choose from to cover the two massive disappointments in Hargraves and eski. (my preference is probably brougton, assuming you already have waters and shaw)

However there is one thing I am reasonably confident of.

There is no problem in this game to which grima is the solution.

He is not a proven scorer nor is he even a walk up start at the Roos.
He has had 4 reasonably good games. Don't get sucked in. With 2/3 trades left you will regret it.

Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

your probably right on grima not being a smart pick. However the statement he is not a walk up start at the roos couldn't be more wrong. He is one of the roos most important players and will play every week if fit. has had a horror run with injuries and he will probably average 80+ if he remains fit.

My concern with grima (apart from the injury plague that you rightfully pointed out) is that he is a part of a team that is under severe pressure. Lead by a coach under severe pressure.
Apart from a small few (wells, Petrie, boomer etc.) I woul say no one is assured of a spot in the blue and white verticals.
We have seen Scott swing the axe after a loss and I would think that north have a few more losses left in them for the season.
Also, at this point of the year, wouldn't you be looking for more out of a trade than averaging 80ish? (which I think is maybe a little wishful for grima..)

Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

yeah your right he isnt a worth trade in target for 80 average. Im a bias roo suporter though and i really believe he could average 90+ , the chance of that happening isnt high enough to warrant a trade though. I think he will out score hargrave and it will save me 80-90 points but does that warrant a trade. Might make me 100-200 points over the season. If grima can catch fire and average 10 or more than hargraves than it will make me 200+ and will be a good trade.

well holz it comes down to how much more will carrots score over (i.e. broughton, heppell) .if the donut is worth 100 pts and carrots only scores 5 pts more per rd over 10 rds, then its better to get broughton,, but if carrots will avg 10+ pts then its better to cop the donut and wait.. i know that doesnt really help you,but hey im trying to beat you so my advice might be bias anyhow ;)..
personally im gunna keep hargraves and ellis(i think) this week and cop the donuts, then grab carrots in 2 weeks.. though im 1k overall and no chance of getting into top 100 now i wouldnt think,, so just try for some league success :'(

hmm Grima not looking like a stupid pick anymore 34 at 3/4 time and broughton was rubish for 57. Wish I had the guts to go with him. Grima and Carrots over Broughton and Hargarave is looking really good now. Oh-well only 1 week, might change by seasons end.
