I'm looking at completing my mids over the next few weeks. Just wondering who you think will be the top 6 mids for 2012.
My mids currently.
Ablett, Pendlebury, Boyd, J Selwood, Zorko, McDonald (D Smith, Williams)

I'm planning to upgrade McDonald & Smith leaving Zorko & Williams on the bench. Swan is a must I'm bringing in with probably Watson as the final upgrade.

All the mentioned are currently avg 105 upwards. Only interested in mids, no dual postion players.

You can vote up to 6 players.

Windigo

Pretty easy top 5.

Watson, Swan, GAJ, Boyd & Pendles. Last spot is tough...Stanton's stats are 'slightly' distorted.

Brad Ebert as a smokey sixth.... ???

Alka

The 5 Windi said and Thommo. The Adelaide draw is a cruise and he loves racking up possessions against the weaker teams.
Still to come: Port, GWS, Brissy, Melb, GCS. Yes please!

Pendles will probably miss more games, he broke his leg you can't require that quickly and easily from that

Ziplock

it's a small fracture, which should heal in like a couple of weeks tops. On top of that, he shouldn't lose any substantial mobility from it, and no ligament damage, meaning when he's back to fitness, he'll be right to go.

Bones Bombers

Saw a photo today of Pendles and Didak having a light run. Can't do that on a broken leg!
Was only a small crack, probs could have played if they didn't see it on the scan. Not worth risking for a few weeks.

Jalapeno

stanton, swanny, watson, gaj, boyd and pendles.

Zombie2.5

Swanny, Ablett, Pendles, Boyd, Watson and Thommo.
Looks like my mids except i have J.Selwood over one of Watson/Thommo(deciding on one of them).
Swanny, Ablett and Pendles have all missed games but they should still make the cut(averages).

Never thought Stants would keep up his early season form(wasn't really form, quite inconsistent).

Jukes

Why are all you cants so bias against Stants ffs

Third highest average most overall points.

Just jelly you don't have him all season like me?

not really inconsistent, only one score below 90, which was a 77

One off for mine, just Selwood over Watson in there, not bad but I'd still prefer Watson. (Haven't got Thompson in yet though, Watson still a chance to squeeze in and get in ahead) Quite happy though :)

Even if they were decent scores, isn't it inconsistent if there is a MASSIVE difference between their best and worse scores(with not much in between)? say, 50 and 120 is inconsistent, but so is 90 and 160. There's a difference between scores and inconsistency.

replace Pendles with EBERT and its mine :)

The consensus seems to be that Thompson & Watson will be in the top 6. I can only get 1 of these as Swan will be the 2nd upgrade.

Who would be better to add to my team out of Thompson or Watson. Both will be about the same average but Thompson is 40K less.

Memphistopheles

I assume you're looking from this point on?

How about Barlow for a POD.

He is just coming into form (Four consecutive tons) and is looking to step up a gear which could mean some bigger tons.

Also because his disposal efficiency isn't great he usually avoids the taggers.
