Hayden crozier??

Am think of bringing in this bloke this week for Tom Mitchell just so I can have the DPP link with zorko as M7 or F8? Team is pretty will complete (just bringing in pendles in 2 or 3) currently have Sam Gibson and T mitchell as mid bench and would like the comfort of zorko as backup. Don't know anything about crozier do any advice on this would be appreciated. Is the dpp link worth a trade??

After I get pendles will have 7 and if I get crozier will have 6 plus the dpp link. Just trying to work out if the link is worth a trade or wether Gibson and Tom Mitchell (if he plays this year) will be good enough cover. Crozier will also save me a zero this week.

Haha thanks for making it even more difficult windy haha has anyone seen crozier play this year?? Don't know a whole heap about him and is he likely to play many more games with morabito and a couple more coming back?

I've been watching him. He's small, real small, but quick, and with a cool head and capable of making his way through traffic. I've been talking him up on threads all over the place, in my mind he has attributes which aren't in great supply at Freo. Lyon loves him, and he did pretty well against Richmond when he almost played a full game.

If he doesn't play well this week he could be cut when Morabito comes in, however I'd expect Mora to come straight into the midfield allowing Crozier to keep his spot at half forward. Nothing is guaranteed though, and anyone is one bad game away from the chop.

[EDIT: that said, i've just seen him named in the FWD pocket so they might be relying on his x-factor as a replacement for Ballantyne for this game at least]

with 7 trades left i wouldn't be too worried about it. Gibson SHOULD stay in the team, but who knows these days with coaches providing us with so many selection headaches. I would say look to trade only if you are looking at copping a 0. For now Gibson is good enough cover and i know DPP link makes you feel safe, but don't sacrifice your team for it.

i traded him in, needed a rookie and some $$$$ thought about getting couch but seems as if Crozier has more JS. Plus if he can get 30pts for me its more than what I would get if i got couch.

Well look at this way. You have 7 trades. Look at your team and your fixture. if you want the DPP link then its gonna cost 1 trade. If not then leave your team as it is :)

I reckon I'll probably pull the trigger on him. Apparently he's pretty highly rated at freo and Lyon has given Lachie Neale a fair crack do hopefully he does the same for crozier.
