originally I was bring m.johnson into my forwards and carrazo in for gravey (next  week) leaving zorko as a f8 m7
how ever I'm leaning towards keeping him as f7 for the time being, this allows me to get scotland and carrazzo next week
so in other words it was:
m.johnson & m.clarke
OR
scotland & zorks
the choice is simple...........so the main question is: is zorko a sufficient f7?..... personally i think he can average 85+

My final team
deledio - goddard - scotland - Birchall - Waters - Carrazzo - H.Shaw  (S.shaw, Darley)
swan - ablett - boyd - thompson - pendlebury - rocky (treloer - sexton)
cox - giles (stephenson - redden)
buddy - beams - sidebottom - robinson - dangerfield - martin - Zorko  (hall, Cameron)
around 40k - 70k
6 trades

Since when does 4 good score equate so premium status.

People were saying Horse would be a great M6....

Going along nicely, but if another one of your premiums goes down, it'll leave you short if you play Zorko at 7.

Do you really wanna call on hall or cameron?  ???

He's a lock for my mid six, want him there for the DPP and I already have a 7 premo forward line.

Will average 85 plus easily, maybe even 90.

I think its situational, because it depends on the strength of your bench.

Lets say Buddy gets suspended, which is not untypical thing to occur.  With Zorko as F7 and a bench of Hall & Cameron, there's no guarantee you will have coverage for Buddy.

You also can't really utilize MPP with Treloar/Sexton on the field.  So you need to weigh that up, and whether it is worth it in the long term.

Um, think its quite obvious that Zorko>Clarke and Scotland>Johnson(MJ more consistent?)

Zorko is definitely good enough to be F7 for now... but surely he'll drop off later and he can revert back to being our excellent bench cover, which trust me, will be more handy than someone with Zorko being already on the field and calling a shaky rookie to play on the field.

But being in your situation its pretty much Zorko v Clarke right? Well surely Zorko wins there(Clarke's tagging roles don't help at all) and in trading out Clarke you make better money than trading out hall/cameron. In a perfect world, you'd want a full team of premo's with no exceptions(include Zorks). So in that perfect world, Zorkos would be your cover, and you will need it (suspensions, rests etc...). But in your situation its probably better to have Zorks as your F7.

Zorko all the way!!

The question was is he sufficient enough to hold down f7, i think to date he is, currently he is a better option to field than martin. He wasnt asking are my backups any good. The fact you acknowledge his good enough for first back up suggests you rate him. Ill most likely field zorks in f7 and bench martin, there arnt to many premiums in the forward and back line.

I think he's still a risk. Magner, Treloar, Greene and Horse all show that rookies vary a LOT in their first year. I've had the same choice - Martin or Zorko as f7, and I think Zorko is much better to have as a super sub.

If your benching martin then it's better off trading & getting a super premium & having Zorko as cover.
