So with 9 trades an 236,000 my midfield looks like this

Ablett, Pendlebury, Watson, Priddis, Hayes, Christenson (Shiel Gibson)

Christenson biggest regret of the season traded him in rnd 6 as upgrade for smith then got 62 and hasn't played since
However he is important for dpp and I don't mind playing Shiel

With my money though I am looking to keep 150,000 to upgrade Ellis for Carrazo in two weeks
This leaves me with 86,000 odd and I was wondering whether I should upgrade Hayes for the likes of Thompson etc

I'm a saints supporter and one of lennys biggest fans but it seems like he has done all he can do dt wise

I this a fair assessment

Is DPP really that helpful after the byes are over

Hayes is still scoring well enough to be a winner at this stage

if you can get a further 20 or 30+ points by trading him go ahead
but for the initial outlay i believe he deserves to stay IMO

So should I hold out and hope another downgrade (couch, Mitchell?) comes alongg then work on upgrading Shiel perhaps and have Christenson as cover

Been thinking....
If i was to go stephenson to Campbell this week or next (if he's still in the team) that would allow me to upgrade Shiel to a premium such as boyd (probs no more than 600,000
Lenny would then stay and Christenson would provide bench cover and dpp to zorko in fwd line
In other words if Zorko's form drops then Christenson can become f7

I could upgrade hall for someone of approx 450,000 and below and then move zorko to m6 and Christenson to fwd cover (whoever scores better

Both these options would leave me with 6 trades (after Carrazo trade) and a complete team

How about, downgrading Shiel(Crozier?) then upgrading Christensen(unless you really want him, he's playing) to a player of your choice(there's no one over $600k at the moment..)

You keep Hayes, who has been solid and get rid of Christensen who's a pain, while retaining your Mid-Forward link in Crozier/Zorko.

He has a BE off 110 and will nearly definately start with the green vest and lose plenty of $$ although I do like the idea of stephenson to Campbell and upgrading sheil to Boyd and having christo as dpp bench cover and allow u to have christo as F7 if zorko hits the rookie wall.

Yeah I'm really tempted to do that but 2 questions
1. Is it ok to trade campbell before he's played a game will he be dropped immediately for Munson next week
2. Should I go Boyd, Thompson, Mitchell who (boyd sounds better as I've heard that thompson may be rested come finals

Definitely trade him - I got him of him last week. He's played his role but it's time for Swan or Thompson.
