Go with Crozier I think. Going with Couch only nets you an extra 12k roughly. Ross Lyon has said a few times this year on the back of some bad losses that he is going to continue promoting youth in the team, example lachie neale. Plus i don't see freo making finals (although melb won't either) but point is that Ross will probably look to get some games into the youngsters if finals are out of reach. Freo also do have a few niggiling injuries at the moment so i think Crozier may stay in the team one or two games more and if he is dropped, could feature in the later rounds, which may come in handy when the old "general soreness" comes into play before afl finals and you don't have enough trades to cover them all :(

Plus apparently Couch is a shocking user of the ball and butchers it a lot. He might be rough as guts and likes to get his hands dirty but he can't kick. Melbourne don't need more turn over kings, they have already recruited players like Cale Morton, Lyden Dunn and Rohan Bail to do that for them ;)

But not Spurr...

Can't you just get Gibson in and wait for Couch?

I don't get the reason why you need to keep the M/F link now? Unless you need it this week(and still want to get rid of Treloar) wouldn't it just be better to get in Gibson(who plays) instead of Couch, who you can get next week, even if not named? How does it help your team(this week)?

A mid/Fwd link is handy, but don't sacrificing your team just for the sake of having it.

Be wary, too much talk of Zorko being a perma starter each week. It'll hurt in the end IMO. Give me a consistent 90+ from my premiums.

Yeah why spurr isn't in the team is a mystery to me. Lyon likes those rough as guts players and thats exactly what spurr is. I think its maybe cos of the fact that the back line at freo is pretty settled at the moment and Lyon is trying to drill in his game plan to the defenders at the moment. I mean even duffield is out at the moment so i think spurr is a bit behind int he pecking order

Another thing is that freos forward line is shocking compared to their defence. with players like jack anthony, kepler bradley, jesse crichton (young but hasn't showed much) and chris mayne (potential but very raw) i think there is room for Ross lyon to chuck players like crozier up front and get some game time into them.

hopefully with the injuries this week spurr is a slight chance to play....or else its donuts for me haha

nah its silly id go with gibson his playing and should build on his first game. I presume your low on trades so why trade someone who is not playing or looks like getting a game. If your got lots of trades you can trade gibson or another rookie out in the near future creating that like.
