@ Ringo - it (midfield) goes deeper than that too :) expect a top 8 finish next season as a minimum, within 3 the Lions will be a force again, it's not just the mids where theere are bright young sparks that signal an ominous future.

On Zorko, he was apparantly scathing in his response to the "Rich incident" as was Redden. Good for the game good for local rivalry I think there will be fireworks this weekend, and I DO NOT share Whatlez's optimism for the Suns...

me - Lions by 80 in a poleaxing without the courtesey of lube

@ Nails, when it came to the "other clubs" he seemed a bit smug, but not bitter, when it came to the suns he was bitter....

kids asked questions at the end and one was which club do you hate, dayne said the suns :)

cant mention the other Lion he is undrafted..... for now and maybe for a while yet tbh
Thanks Colli I have posted in other threads my thoughts on the Rich incident as well.  I too expect a top 8 next year with our depth now developing as well.  Reserves are on the top of the NEAFL which goes well for the club and competition for spot.  A number of players are putting pressure on firsts for spots.

Looks like Redden is out for blodd as well, this could be better than the SA Derby
