No he doesn't. It is the first pick and the consequences will be too large if he was to miss his first pick. Maybe if we were at round 25. ;) Also the last time Hawka was online may have been when MTTY stated that the draft was starting Friday 5:00pm, so you can't blame him.

It comes back to: Draft was meant to start Friday 5:00pm, UNTIL THAT TIME HAS PASSED you cannot start any 24 hour rule. ::)

He was last online June 19th just after 6, so wouldn't have even known of the draft begininng today anyway. ::)

This could drag out for ages, How about at 5:00pm tonight Hawka's 24 hours start then everyone has 24 hours from then?? If you miss out that'll be your fault....

Initially there will not be a time limit to taking your picks but if we begin to get short of time there will be a 24 hour limit on your picks (with a three strike policy, whereby your limit will be lowered to 18 hours)

I have stated in the opening post the above. We have a long time to get this done, so no need to rush yet. If it starts getting ridiculous (like 2 days without a pick) then i will deal with that.

Yeah but you have to have the rules set out IMO. Cant just say its starting to get ridiculous we'll change it now... Anywayz im learning a new skill patience ;)
