2 trades for Beams???

My best team is listed below (ex byes/injury) 9 trades left, 80k in bank. Going for league and 2 games clear on top.


Godd, Lids, Duff, Birch, Shaw, Waters, Shaw (S)  (Mohr, Ellis)

Boyd, Cotchin, Thompson, Pendlebury, Ablett, Zorko (McDonald, Nicholson)

Franklin, Christensen, Martin, Robo, Danger, Sidey, Stevie J (Sexton, Pfeiffer)


I want to bring in Beams - at start of year was deciding between him and Christensen but that is a another story!

Is it worth making 2 trades to bring him in -  I have 3/4 zeroes in fwd line this week... Would you drop pfeiffer & martin/robbo/christ to bring him in or just sit tight and cop the loss this week?

Sit tight. Good team, if anything I would move Zorko to cover for Christensen's injury and get in Swan. Much better value for money if you can afford it...

Zorko can play F7 for awhile whilst someone like Goodes get's back into form and pick him up later...

cheers bomber. didn't think about swan, was planning on bringing in jobe at some point in the next few weeks. there are some rumors around christo playing this week so hopefully he does!  i just keep thinking that my final team needs beams in the fwd line...

Wait on Beams.  He's pretty much as high as he can go.  If zorko continues his form, a beamer upgrade shouldnt cost too much.

u are always taking a risk when you pay 600k for a player, besides swan, pendles gaj still!!

for example mate me and i think many got heavily burnt on marc murphy - i payed over 640k when fyfe went down - won't do that again as there is always a premo off to a slow start and i destroyed the good work i did.
look at beams, hitting scores and looks the good, every payer has good patches and poor patches, but if he goes down its potentially a massive waste when you could pick PAV for 120k cheaper and he produces a 100 average..

anyway i think get on swanny, he is a pig.
