As a newby - How does the draft work? Is it done in a forum? All in one night?

it's done on the forum, there's no real time limit- worlds and euros took a couple of weeks :P

Basically I will use a random number simulator to get the initial order, then in each round of drafting the order will alternate from backwards to front. It will be held in it's own thread and you have a maximum 24 hours to make your pick (send your picks to your assistant or helpful member of the forum if you won't be online to pick) I will be having a three strike policy whereby if you don't make your pick within the 24 hours for three times your limit will then be decreased to 12 hours for picks. If your time runs out and you haven't picked then you will be skipped but can make your pick at any time.

if you're running the draft soonish, I dunno if the 24 hour is really necessary... in our case we were trying to get it done before the nat. draft, and to leave plenty of time for trade discussions etc.

I think the 24 hour thing should be a guideline if you have plenty of time :P
