Cloke as F7 this week?

I have only 10 trades left and have about the same no of donuts as my opponent. I'm 8-2 and sitting 2nd in my league. I have  240 k in the bank, just not enough to go Treloar to Beams who is my next target but not sure on last F upgrade.

so you plan to have 2 forward rookies in your best 7 fwds ? not the best strategy

If you downgrade horsley to gibson then you should have enough to go pfieffer to beams.
gives you two less donuts and brings in your preffered FWD upgrade.
Leaves you with approx 155K too.

If you only want to use one trade, and insist on losing treloar, get chappy.

With 10 trades left and dependent on cash I would be looking at 3 trades this week to finish team
Horsley to Gibson gains an additional $227k
Treloar to Beams and Pfeiffer to Prem Forward up to $505k (even consider Roughhead for additional Ruck Coverage and then  downgrade one of your rucks next week to Pattinson to give you extra cash with 6 trades remaining)

Sorry didn't make it clear. Team won't be finished just Cloke will be f7. Good moves suggested but worried about only having 7 to 8 trades when others in my top 4 have 15

How do you know that? They told you? Don't believe em! ;)

15 trades sounds like a lot. I doubt many people have that many. I'm top 4 in my league ranked around 5k and have 12 which will be about 9 in two weeks time.

My advice is stay well away from Cloke. He's too risky. Get in Beams, like suggested above.

mate 396k imo is a steal - inconsistency is the nature of the beast!! (CHF in modern footy) and thats why we went for the midfield type of forwards this year as we were seeing the signs that KPP were up and down last year. so what you do is trade to them when they bottom out - i say bring in cloke he isn't a bad F7 at all mate. and money talks imo!

- but mate the pies don't have a ''great'' draw, got some tough games, but they'll win most still and cloke would be on the recieving end of a few of them.

i'd finish team this week as well, for leauge and overall!! if you have a complete team and 6 trades left mate you can just relax til finals and fix up whatever does along the way.

mate don't worry about other teams trade, you think about your trades! i haven't ever kept a certain amount of trades for finals, ever! and i've won a fair few, don't get me wrong u don't go out and use ALL of them but, you just gotta jump on players at the right time, no point waiting a couple of weeeks for finals when the bloke u want is a bargain, as when finals arrive there is no guarantee the good players will be at a good price, ect. - on flipside there is more risk as he might not play or get injured in the process as compared to picking a guy on the week of finals who is named. but who wants an easy challenge!! imo just keep building your team but really think each trade right through. mate if both teams are pimpin at the end who cares if he has extra trades when you knock him out  ;)

I guess the question now would be as Beams is 600 k plus so it's buying high which is usually against my sc rules unless they are worth it, is he really worth it? Can't see too many forwards I don't have that I would rather have than him. Chappy Goodes when fit Roughead are all in the discussion but I think he's the best of the rest. Anyone disagree ?

Beams is worth 600k I reckon. But I would go for Sidey over him unless you already have him.

A lot of teams are trading Cloke in this week. Although at a very attractive price for his ability and potential I for one wouldn't go near him while his future is undecided. Were he to commit to the woods jump on, but the longer he delays the more tension he'll be feeling. Beams is the go, no side can tag all of "wobbles " mids. Cheers.

have had him from rd1. He has been a rollercoaster of a scorer. Not exactly sure why this will change ...just because he is cheaper? Get him in if you only expect around an 80 score and be happy with anything better..IMO... :o

Yes fair call on Cloke as he does seem very distracted and not the player he was last year ATM. Got sudsy so beams us next best then
