Anybody else praying that some rookie back gets named this week, so they can dump Ellis/Morris and avoid another zero??

I know I am. Ideally one less than 145K so I can afford to upgrade a rookie mid to Scotty Thompson :)

PowerBug

just downgrade anyway. :P I'm considering trrading into a donut this week solely for structure reasons. :P

Ricochet

considered Whiley from GWS? of Hine from GC?

mwaxo

But downgrade Ellis to who?  :o Got $ $haw last week.

Not going to bother downgrading him yet if I just trade in another zero, his price will go up a little as well I think.

Consider keeping Morris or Ellis on bench all year. I know I'm keeping Ellis. Might not get the big scores but they have great JS and should play most games this season. If u get a late withdrawal (looking at you Hargrave) or something atleast you know Ellis or Morris will be there to count on for a 60 which is much better than a 0.

Wise words... As much as it burns me I will probably cop a zero- only because there are 12 more rounds where without him I could cop a zero.

its me lads

i have considered whiley, although it doesnt matter an awful lot, what do you think his js is like?

Poor. Players like Hombsch, Buntine and the like should grab his spot. But you never know...

Scrads

Did it semi-smart. Last week I did Sexton (who was MEANT to be out for round 12 and thenhad the bye in round 13) for Darley and shifted Goddard to the mids, then my plan is to trade Ellis to someone like Couch or Crozier into the mids and shift Goddard back :)

Just gay that Sexton ended up playing :P

Tominator

I cut them both, Ellis to Darley then Morris to Shaw; those two now my bench defenders. If you don't have either of those two and have to trade this week then get one of them in

So many people are gonna be burnt on the run home when they need to call on a rookie to fill an injury/late withdraw and they have some crap player that played 1 game in the bye rounds and scored them 25

Pretty much. Thats why I want Zorko to be able to cover my midfield and fwds...

+1 Great bench cover. Besides I don't really think he's made enough money to cull. I have plenty of forwards and mids ahead of him... hell I'd probably get rid of Jarrad Redden for a 85k rook first.

Do u know a trick that noone else knows Ele? Haha Zorko to cover both... U cloned him??

Just messing but u know which ever one u put him on, whether it b mid or fwd, he'll b more needed on the other one. Well that will just b my luck anyways :D

I'm curious how far Docherty is.

Wasn't he injured at some stage?
Or can he just not break into the side?
