I'm pretty short on options too... I was planning on trading in Swan this week but so expensive :(

I was thinking the same thing as you for the past two years, and both times not starting with Swan has hurt me... like last year though I have brought him in midway through the season (this week), along with Beams to finish my mid's and forwards... I guess it helped not bringing in Swan early both this year and last in terms of the fact he missed a few with injury and the bye's but I think it's definitely probably hurt me more not having him. I kept thinking that he would go down in price after a bad game, but the reality is he is one of the few players who almost never drops much in price unfortunately!

I traded him out for Stanton when he got injured ::). Stanton bled cash and stopped scoring, Swan came back and smash the Dees. Horrible, horrible trade. Now I must bring him back.

Tend to agree tbagrocks, wont be alot between them but im tipping Swan to out point Boyd.
My last few seasons it's been Gaj or Swan as cpt. If Gaj is missing i revert to Swan almost automatically now haha.
Majority of the time its on Ablett. These 2 champs rarely let you down, thats what makes them great Captains.
I think its to hard to float from one cpt to another trying to chase the highest scorer, if you stick with one of these 2 all year
im sure you would come out in front end of season.

I'm not sure where these rumours about North giving up hundreds of tons are coming from. That being said, they do give up BIG tons. Thompson bounced back well last week but has a bit of an up and down record against the Roos. He loves Etihad though (like a lot of stars seem to) so should do alright this week. Prediction - 110

The reason North's 100s count is low is because they've played 3 of the bottom 5 teams (Gold Coast, Port, and Brissie) in the last 4 weeks.
Hawks had 4 x 100s against them
Bulldogs had 5 x 100s
West Coast had 6 x 100s
Just my opinion, but i reckon Thommo and Danger will go big this week
