I need to make one more upgrade in my midfield to make them complete ;D But who the hell do I put in? I can afford anyone and I am tossing up between Thompson, Stanton and Watson.

Who do you think I should bring in and why?

Current Mids
Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, J Selwood, Boyd, Horsely, Zorko, McDonald

Thompson:
Pro - great run home, cheapest option and has bottomed out in price
Con - can be tagged to very low scores

Stanton:
Pro - has a massive ceiling
Con - also tagged, inconsistent, poor run home

Watson:
Pro - very consistent, can't be tagged because he gets the footy inside and outside
Con - poor run home

Appreciate feedback.

Sorry for the long post!

Cheers,

cbf reading. The answer is Watson regardless!! :D

I would of gotten Watson this week if not that bye, so I would advise him.

Thompson for value, but Adelaide are going that well he could get a late season rest right when those great late season fixtures come up (round 20 Freo @ home, round 21 Brisbane away, R22 Melbourne away, R23 Gold Coast at home). I'm really feeling Watson at the moment and with Essendon in the hunt for the first time in a while, less likely to be rested as the captain..? Food for thought, but it's hard to go past Thompson at his current price.

With a lowest score so far of 91 jobe wins

What's Watson's breakeven for this week?

Thompson scored 140 against STK who knows how high he can go against GWS and GC? Has an easy draw, and I've had him since start of the year, next two games are NM and Richmond - NM couldn't stop Gazza so Thompson could go big again. At $488K, get on.

Just having a look at the numbers and jobe scores poorly vs freo historically so for this week Thompson from next jobe

Delaying the mid upgrade looks like the go...

I am an essendon supporter so i would love to have Jobe or Stants in my team but at the moment, Thompson's fixture is just too hard to ignore. Decisions, Decisions

But then you'll be copping a zero unless you're downgrading in your mids to Gibson? Even so Pendles is a maybe so if you're going to trade anyway and you're looking at a zero then get Jobe/Thommo in?
