I'm faced with the same problem but I think Swan is worth waiting a week for.

Madsnake

If you choose Swan over Boyd, you will lose 60-80 odd points this round if you can field a rookie, if you're copping a donut you'll lose 100-140, both of those amounts will be made up by Swan over Boyd by the end of the year so i'd wait a week on Swanny.

Swan is an absolute freak get on him next week  :)

Boyd has a game up his sleeve and is cheaper from now to end of the year they will accumulate a very similar total taking into account boyd has a game up his sleeve. Both proven to be very durable. Pies could rest swan later in the season but i doubt it with there tough draw. Not sure on how many trades you got but id go Boyd and probably look to upgrade barlow to swan r14/r15.

Windigo

Yeah, get in Swanny.

He will easily rack up the possies.  ;)

PowerBug

Get swan becuase i want people to stay away from Boyd :P

Maybe upgrade Barlow to Boyd later on, or someone else and use Barlow as bench cover. :-\

Swan first, he is the beast of the comp, lowest score is 95 when he missed the last quarter throgh injury.

Lions01

I'd be waiting for Swanny if you can.

As Owen said about Boyd having a game up his sleeve.
Boyd @ 119 x 12games = 1428
Swan @ 125 x 11games = 1375

That's only a difference of 53, a rookie should cover that this week, and if not Swanny as a Captain option could make that up.

captain dt

swan for sure but i would have both in your team i do and its great

Boyd Facts
Missed 2 games since 2006 which is 140/142 (98.6%)

Averages last 2 seasons 115.1, 116, and is averaging 118.7 this season. If he averages 117 for rest of the season which is very realistic he will score another 1404points.

Swan Facts
Missed 5 games since 2006 which is 137/142 (96.5%)

Averages last 2 seasons 123, 120.9, and is averaging 125.4 this season. If he averages 124 for rest of the season which is very realistic he will score another 1364 points.

Taking into account his recently had a soft tissue injury, is slightly less durable will realisticlty score slightly less than boyd is approximately 32K more expensive, Boyd is the obvious and best choice. Id get Swan for Barlow later or trade any injured premo mid out for him in a few weeks time.

lol i was just doing something similar but you to quick for me.

Ricochet

also have to factor in that you will probably have Swan as captain most weeks
difference between the two averages was 5ish
so it could really be a difference for 10 per week.
