Is marty clarke a keeper??

I see that marty clarke is one of the most traded out players this week. I have very limited trades due to injuries and finalising my team. I will have a complete mid, ruck and fwd line with top premos with 4 trades remaining, however, my back line is something to left to be desired.

I have as my defenders: Lids, GOD, Scot, Waters, Clarke, Lake, Malceski (Spurr, Darley).

Is marty clarke worth leaving in due to my limited trades? Or should i take the punt on shaw and upgrade malceski to a pure premium defender (leaving only two trades)?

Depends on the rest of your team. Defenders seems less consistent than mids, so if you need the trade in mids, then more points there.

I reckon you're a bit gung-ho trading Ceski out given your lack of trades. keep him and upgrade Clarke if you can.

I'm keeping him. Good d6/7/8 depending on other upgrades and the trade will be useful elsewhere.

M: GAJ, Pendles, Swan, Jelwood, Watson, NDS (Gibson, Zorko)

I have a pretty good team besides backs... I prob do need the trades for finals/LTI

You could probably get Broughton or Shaw.
But depending on how many trades you have left you might wait until finals to make the switch.
If you are in the hunt for the car I would make the trade now.

Then maybe Birchall after round 13?

Shaw has been a pain in the aaarrrss again, Broughton maybe if you really need someone after this week to counter Clarke's predicted drop in value.

Your side looks great mate. I think 1 more backline premium for either Eski or Clarke and I think your side is complete. So whenever you see fit to do that thats what I would be traying to do

dont think so. he seems to be declining a bit. should be one of your last upgrades though.

Exactly. But...
1. He has the bye this week so hopefully he will be a bit more rejuvinated for at least a couple more rounds.
2. He should hold his value, fluctuate between 360 - 400k
3. A fallen premium (Suckling/Carrazzo/Fisher) should be basically a sideways trade. I'd be going to one of those guys after his bye when they bottom out...
