Need help ffrom DT Gurus!

Want to forget about last week and move on....*sigh

I was planning on getting Scott Thompson for Magner after Rnd 11 to avoid the donut...but it seems with a BE of 190 and with a possible tag from CJ he might drop in value further....

I want to trade in BYE11 mid...My backs and fwds are pretty fixed and need help to decide whether to cop the donut, bring in another player (who?) or jump into Scotty T with a higher price...

My Mids: Pendles, Boyd, Ablett, Hayse, Bartel, Magner, JMac, Shiel

Also, Jack Redden is another option i'm looking at but concern when Black comes in he wont get much of the pill though he will continue tackling....

Jack Redden is a gun mate, Black won't influence his scoring.
Scotty T is still a class above imo tho. If you can afford him and not too worried about his coming price drop i would get him. He's a premium and you'll be keeping him so the ups and downs of his price shouldn't affect your decision... if you can afford him at his current price.

In an ideal world u should wait a week or two and then get him for about 450k but if u need him and have plenty of cash just get him,

Yes agree Scotty is a Premo and eventually will be in my team...

I was thinking about Redden as the unique M6 since most have unloaded him due to his poor start...You reckon he will score well in the finals ??

Swan/Watson will be my other upgrades...

He is a gun and everyone that traded him out didn't truly appreciate him or what he can do. If they traded him out, they should have never got him in the first place IMO.

If you look at who the crows have when its DT finals it looks very promising for Thommo to be a gun. But at the same time could be rested as he is one of the older lads in crows midfield, hopefully they keep up there current form so they have to fight for a top 4 spot come end of season and Thommo sees out the season. I would be getting him this week if I was you, he may have an avg week and score 70 this week but thats 70 more then what your getting currently, depends how much you value those 70 points as he will drop in price.

If the Crows are pushing for a top four spot (or top two) then they won't rest Thommo as they'll need him if they're going to achieve either one of those.
