What do I do with Couch? Trade him to Gibson or hold! Saves a donut but then I have no dpp in the mids if I trade?

Very similar to Flame...

I'm considering trading Townsend to Gibson using DPP.
The problems with this are that Gibson hasn't been tested, no idea about Gibson's JS, can't trade Ellis to Crozier next round because I will have nullified DPP.
Good things are that it saves me a donut and gets rid of Townsend who was doing very little before injuring his jaw.
Obviously only have 50 minutes to think about it so quick responses would be swell!

already traded Morris to Sam Shaw, so I have $154K in the bank with 10 trades left. Plan on making my next two:

1) Magner to Gibson (gives me $355K and covers one donut)
2) Stephenson to Maric (gives me $92K and covers another donut but one extra next week). Thinking of waiting until Rd 14

Should I do these trades this week or not?

BTW I want to hold HMac so that when he comes back I'll have Maric, HMac (Giles, Redden)

magner to gibson is a good move but i would be slightly worried about the sub , still better than a donut.

I dont like the hold on Hmac i think he will struggle to score with goldy fit and firing. I would probably rather play Giles over Hmac. I would bring in griffin for stephenson next week as i think he will fire with sandi out and if sandi comes back in for the last few games than you can play giles.

CAnother good option would be to get in goldy but im not liking the goldy hmac combo. The only benefit is i think either goldy or hmac will struggle, im thinking hmac will but if you get both you have safety but thats alot of money wasted on the bench.

A nice unique would be to go stephenson to will minson. He doesnt score great but keeps pulling consistent numbers.

he is our good news story and he will play if he can peform in the AFL, its a little like richardson last year he was a big body and talked up alot and killed it in the vfl but he wasnt up to afl standard. Sadly I wont be able to see how good his JS is untill i see him play this weekend, thats why im waiting a week to get him. I would expect him to play this week and next at least. The roos should smash GC and with that there shouldnt be too many changes to the sqaud (that is if gibson plays alright).

Read the respone to flame, i can say this he is a much better chance of playing alot of game than crozier. The problem is we have alot of mids but if he peforms he will play. There isnt a player coming in who can push him out if he plays well. If he plays like he does in the vfl he could play the year out

It comes down to whether or not his potential points this week warrant the risk of bringing him in before he's played.

It comes down to whether or not his potential points this week warrant the risk of bringing him in before he's played.

As the DT talk boys said he shouldnt be sub becasue he is the good news story, bit dodgey to hype him up than have him on the bench for 3 quarters. he is also a big body I would be expecting a 60 from him. Which could get you a league win and help you in the rankings.

Couch to Gibson probably gets you no money, look to trade Magner or Cogs or Horse next week
