Clarke > Shaw does seem tempting.  There is bugger all downgrade targets at the moment.  That said, I don't want him to turn into another Spurr, and there's a big chance of that happening.  Bringing him in would get me a premium though, so there is that to consider.  Morris is good enough to sit on the bench and come in for a 50 odd on the rare times I will need him after byes.  I will have to think about this though, as trades are starting to become like gold at this stage of the year, and I can't afford to waste another one after last week's mishap.

Morris will be sub soon

Why do you say that?  He's the best back pocket player we've had in years.  That and we always struggle against the little guys (Milne and Betts have terrorised us for years).  Besides Rance he's been our best defender by a mile.

gwsfevs, that was a silly comment.

I like you, but that lost you some credibility

I've got 3 players in the gun, Morris Conca and Clarke. I'm thinking of downgrading Morris as hopefully Conca will score decently against gws, but he will become scotland anyway when he comes back. I'm hoping I will be able to keep clarke as d7 so I can focus on trading injured players like sandi hmac zaha and christensen. So morris to shaw for me this week if he's named.

I went Lachie Henderson to Shaw, saved me about 140k  ::)

Why do you have Lachie Henderson ::)

Hey next year, I'll give you some help and you can be rather competitive next year :)

Cheers, I'd appreciate that :D
