a) you got Zorko twice in ya mids :p

b) Horse to priddis is ok i think but u may have to hold zaha looking at your team, maybe smedts -> shaw, Kennedy/Cameron/Milera -> Danger?

bernie

with suck little trades u can really afford to ddu(down down upgrade)
so u need to stick to ppl who have fallen due to injurys.
eg- priddis
carazzo(after he drops to 350ish)
these types of players are/going to be cheap.

Torress

depends on what you want from now on. do you want to see how well you can go overall or just looking at finals? if going for finals you need to go for value picks when they arise from now on.

you have zorko twice mate.

put simply, if i had 380k in the kitty, yes and yes i would absolutely trade!!!

zaha to danger does sound good mate, but you are paying top dollar, not ideal when you have such few trades left, literally every trade you make from now on has to be a good one and not just going for the top point scorer. i don't know if paying 600k for danger is a good one. can't say i've been paying attention to forwards as my FWD line is fairly well settled. but from memory many of the good forwards are around 550k.

its kinda a stab in the dark when trying to guess how long players are going to be out for these days! but zaha and from what history we have from other players with quads it is a probable 4 week injury that requires a trade, as a quad is a prick of an injury and he might miss more games ala sam ried. and hurley missed quite a few last year i think with a quad. but you might have to hold him and upgrade elswhere so you are cherry ripe come finals?

i think you need to look at value picks mate - priddis is someone you really should just bring in, there are some out there just gotta be bold and go for it - i'm looking at yaz after round 13 will be around 260k, for a guy who hit around 7 or so tons playing the same role last season i'm keen for that price.

HappyDEZ

With 8 trades left you cannot afford to be picky so I agree that Priddis is a must. Either for Kennedy (if he is not named) or Horsley if Kennedy is named. I would also do the Smedts to Shaw trade to avoid another donut & top up the bank a/c. I would hang on to Zaha because of your minimal trades remaining. Even if he misses 4 or 5 you should be able to sub him to either fwd or mid to put your best available players on the field after the byes. After that 1 super premo mid (eg. Swan or Watson) & 1 super premo fwd (eg. Chappy or Danger) would be a priority.

Swallow12

Priddis in for Porps, Zaha to the fwd line and keep him as you cant' really afford the trade, and Horsely to Dal Santo, and Suckling in for Morris.. No point having such a ridiculous amount sitting in the cap not earning you points :D

Jroo

You cant afford to have Zaha on your bench so yes you should trade him. If you can afford Kennedy to Priddis I would do it as well.

littleblueboy2906

Thanks guys for the ideas, cheers all added.

Why should I bring in Shaw though for Smedts when both have the bye this week...???

Also im still unsure if I should trade Zacka or hold....

and that player where Zorko is on the bench is Tommy Ledger (don't ask me why I have him but is he getting a game soon)

and yeah i really need to look at fallen stars (Priddis, Yaz et)

You hit trade on Porps, there will be an s next to Zaha which means you can sub him into the open forward line spot due to his DPP. You can then trade Porps to Priddis while moving Zaha to your forward line all in one trade.

milisha

From what I've heard, most Crows fans rate S. Shaw highly. Biggest threats are Andy Ottens (who isn't in best form, and is no walk-up start regardless), or a team re-structure that puts Johncock back. But all things considered, his j.s. is actually quite good compared to other back rookies.

With so few trades left, I'd personally hang on to Zaha and wait it out.

Spite

Yep with little trades, you need to get lower valued premiums. Along with holding Zaha, you dont have the trades to get rid fo him.

Trading Horse to Priddis
Morris to Suckling
Porps to cloke/pearce/taylor walker

May be too late for byes now, you need to get in premiums while they are cheap, try to start with those 3 and work your way from there. Good luck :D

Have you thought about Taylor Walker?? 466k, hit the ton most of his games, could be a steal looking at his run home, and a great POD!! I'm jumping on this week for dSmith myself :) (going for league so hoping big come finals)

hmmm, well i am sort of going for both overall and league and i'm sitting 70,000 in OVERALL (not good enough, want to get better) and I am 9th in my MAIN LEAGUE (Bragging Rights) so need to lift my game.

still unsure if i should be trading Zaharakis or not and also if I should bring in Dangerfield (V Saints) coz the guy i'm versing this week doesn't have him and he could go BIG

also Priddis is a must have but who for: Horse? Zacka? DPP Martin into MIDS then bring Danger into FWDS?

Looked at these trades but it is a fair waste:

Horse to Priddis
Zacka to Danger
Ellis to S.Shaw

5 Trades heaps of cash:

Milera to 470k FWD
Morris to Grimes/Heppell/Carrots

That would leave me to 3, thats right 3!!!!!! With Zorko, Giles and Porp the main rookies starting.....
