Does that mean he's out of brownlow contention?
Yes it does.

Yes it does.

Jormas would not be happy.

Is it funny or sad that we both thought the same thing when reading that he was reprimanded?? :P ;D

Nah mate, look at Sammy Mitchell last year.

Zombie2.5

I think he actually is eligible for the brownlow still?
Pretty sure you have to attract a certain amount of points(100?) for the season to be ineligible. But it counts the points before it is reduced so that might be why Mitchell was ineligible?
Not really sure, but thought the rules were something like that, he got 80 demerit points, reduced to 60 for his good record and 45 with an early plea.

Not sure, but i think he's still eligible?
Hope he is, bit of a disappointment if he isn't.

Spite

The inital amount of points must be over 100 for you to not be allowed to win the brownlow. As it was judged to be 80 points, (down to 60 with early plea) means that he can infact still win the brownlow.

Tominator

only ineligible for Brownlow if you get suspended, in which he wasn't - he only received a reprimand so can still win the Charlie

That is not true, mitchell was not suspended last year but was ineligible for the brownlow because his ~125 points was reduced to 92.75.

Refer to my previous post above yours:

I get it now. I was half right :)

Tominator

my bad Spite, cheers for picking me up on that.

But Swan's only got 45 points now - he originally picked up 80, had it reduced to 60 with good record; guilty plea takes it down to 45 :)

same here @whatlez

just quietly, Jack Grimes is an absolute jet. look at his past 5 games!!!

Trading him out is easily the worst thing I've done all year. Traded him after 3 games when he was suspended and averagung 65 for conca who was averaging 85 including a game as the sub to avoid a donut. Knew it was risky and most certainky hasn;t paid off, with conca averaging low 60s and grimes 90s since the trade.
