"The Suns were granted an increased list size for their entry to the AFL, but must reduce their senior roster from 46 to 42 ahead of the 2013 season.

As per League rules, the second-year club must also make room for three picks in November's NAB AFL Draft.

And it will also need to cull an extra player to allow 17-year-old mini-draft pick-up Jaeger O'Meara, who is playing for the Suns' reserves this year, to officially join its list."

8 players need to go. Who do they keep?? Who do they trade??

Justin Bieber

Get rid of the whole team, they suck.

Caddy should leave, he's a spud. Um losers like riska-TV and josh Fraser ::)

toy, wilkinson and others.

Fraser should start his ruck coaching soon, and Riska has started to tag, dont know why??

and where is Brandon Matera??? Why isn't he playing???

Michael Coad , Kyal Horsley, Andrew McQualter have been elevated off the rookie list leaving only Josh Hall on it.

Jaeger O'Meara is a 2013 Pre-listed player and they have given him guernsey "1" so they want him

i think the best thing for them would be to try and do a 2-1 special. 2 rookies for 1 experienced player (or even 3 for a gun, someone like Goddard)

coolfugitiv0

They need to get rid of Gaz - he's too good for them and is stunting the other players development blah blah etc etc.

Haha nah but seriously, Toy? Tape? Riska doesn't seem to be having much of an impact this year. And Fraser...

Fraser, Coad, McQualter will probably get delisted and one or both of Caddy & Toy will be traded... Josh Hall probably gone too although he's a ruckman apparently and may need him for back up if Fraser goes...

bunyip

They have had some bad luck this season with injuries and form slumps to there senior players. I'd forgotten about Fraser. You must remember that when a team is trying to build it's list, it's two steps forward and then one step back.

Windigo

None of their mature players have been any good.

Rischa, good last year. Fell of the wagon this year.

Fraser, why would you get him?  ::)

Brennan, been okay needs more consistency.

Brown, too old and getting injured every game.

Bock, been the pick of them. Good up till his leg injury.

Harbrow, dunno what to say really.

Justin Bieber

Yeah I'll add.

Seb Tape, cya mate.

Josh Toy, flower off

Caddy, your shower

Wilkinson is an absolute spud

Josh Hall, cya mate.

The players that are average, but keep are: Shaw (just), Prestia (gun), Mckeznie (shower year), Matera (back last week), Rory Thompson, Tom Lynch, Luke Russell and Mav Weller.

There's good players like Illes and Stanley who are holding the team together.

Just get rid of the ones above plus like Coad, Campbell Brown, McQualter, Steven May, Hayden Jolly, Tom Niccols, Taylor Hines, Jack Hutchins, Liam Patrick (where is he), Jacob Gilbee and Jeremy Taylor.

There is some players who I have not even heard of on the list so yeah they can't even get a game for the showertest side to ever compete in the sport.

Bad news is that it doesn't look like the Horse played on the weekend.

Ringo

It will be interesting to watch who they delist this year.
Brennan has had some time in the 2's do they cut him.
Do they now need to rely on Fraser as Ruck back up with the emergence of Hickey but Gorringe still injured. Dixon can also pinch hit in Ruck.
I suspect Coad,Toy, Matera Tape, Wilkinson, May, Weller. Hine.Harbrow and perhaps Brown may come under scrutiny.
Would be shame if they cut some of their youngsters like Flanagan, Jolly, Allen who have not had much first grade experience,
Lez you posted as I was typing but think we share virtually similar sentiments except for allowing some of the uncapped players to remain. Patrick and Flannagan were BOG in NEAFL on Saturday so maybe in for recall.

Justin Bieber

Yeah Flanigna has been injured for too long.

He might get a game this week, but he needs to get a game quick.

Ringo, Matera?!?! He's a gun. I would not get rid of him...

But yeah Hine needs a senior game to show what he's worth.

Sorry Lez McQualter not Matera my cutting and pasting error. Matera is to stay. As you say Gun.

Well they did say he was being rested so why would they then play him in the reserves? Not much of a rest if he did ;)

Also why are you all saying Tape will be let go? He's played 8 of the 11 games so far this year. Why would they continue playing him if they were going to delist him?
