Hanger look at this.

Ablett dominates any player. Players like Stanton do shine when marks do not count and uncontested possession is worth less.

yeah that point is pretty weak, for one Stanton is 7th in the league, still good

plus just because they score like that doesn't mean it is anymore a better guide than supercoach/dream team

I like in your argument before you said Stanton has a better disposal eff, but essendon are 14th in the comp??

Mr.Craig

I have my eye on a few blokes...

Gary Rohan will be nicely priced but he'll have to do a bit in the NAB. I'm also keeping an eye on his teammate, Craig Bird who has already shown the potential to score big. Hopefully he can add some more consistency to his game next year.

I think Roughead has the ability to push his average up to 95 and I'll certainly look at him as 2nd ruck (maybe paired with NicNat). I'd still be keen on Baguley and Lee from Essendon if they get an opportunity.

Is there another mid-priced Bulldogs defender to come out of the DT woodwork? Easton Wood or Christian Howard maybe?

Much like this year I think the coaches who are successful will be the one's that really nail their forward and back picks at the start of the season.

Brent Stanton for another breakout next year and average 140.

Shut up. He can only score well if Essendon are winning.

If Essendon are losing he can't sit at the side of the pack and get the ball.

I haven't seen Stanton get ONE contested possession this year.

And we'll be winning a whole lot more next year...

Well he's a person, he needs to win some hard stuff like Watson. I don't pick Stanton in DT, cause I have no respect for him as a player.

He's averaging 10 a game spastic.

Beams and sidey next season just Mids???

If so that's so flowering shower!!!

bundyboy

they will be super expensive no matter what ...  it's going to hurt :(

Zombie2.5

I'm really considering going a massive risky team ;D(lots of mid-pricers!) plus the usual premo's and a handful of decent rooks. With no new team, there might not be as much good rooks(at the cheap prices too). Although the draft is big, they're all gonna be expensive.

I think its going to be a good challenge, and it looks fun! Probably won't finish that great overall, but it definitely should be more fun than half a cookie-cutter team. :) Looking forward to it! Anyone keen? ;)

Jukes

Only got pretty much my midfield premos locked down: Stanton, Swan, Cotchin and GAJ/Watson.

haha, people seem to already have forgotten, but this was the standard team structure before Guns n Rookies, especially before Gold Coast and GWS blessed us with their rookies, next year I will definitely consider this strategy as well as super loading on rookies perhaps
