how did pav kick 6 and only score 99?

even if he had some horrid clangers the weighting of those goals in a very low scoring match would sure jack him up big?

i was taken back by martin and dempsey's scores..
a couple of years ago i remember a game which was freo vs mel in 2010, where michael johnson scored 151(i couldnt remember the details so looked it up) he had 18 poss. no goals.. i watched the game and he didnt stand out at all. i mean you watch a match and would have to think that a player who scores 151 would stand out..pav almost wins the game on his own and grabs 6 goals.. i dont know just abit of a head scratcher sometimes with SC...

think he kicked 4 goals in first qrt when game was not up for grabs, weighting of points would of been for when the game was on the line near the finish, that would be my only guess, but i mean who knows, rewoldt kicked 7 and got a whopping score when they thrashed gold coast, anybodies guess

This is why I hate SC (not trying to start a fight because its just personal preferance) Clearly best on ground and only scores 99. You may not get rewarded for brilliance in DT but atleast you know what your getting.

Get your shower together SC about time there was some consistency with your scoring.

Yep its frustrating all right. Remeber against GC he did stuff all except have a big last qrt and got 140+. What a joke. Dempseys score last night was ridiculous, he was in the game the entire time and was part of the reason they got back in it. I hope they didnt take points off him for that last part. 17 possies, 6 marks, 44 pts??? Get it together supercoach.

here's a good one: Ben Stratton: 6 disposals (4 kicks, 2 handballs), 1 tackle. Nothing else. DT: 20. SC: 45?!?!?

Dustin Martin: 20 disposals (11 kicks, 9 handballs), 1 mark, 2 tackles, 1 goal. DT: 68. SC: 44.

explain to me how a guy with 14 fewer disposals, 1 fewer mark, 1 fewer tackle and 1 fewer goal scores more points. complete rubbish.

yeah speaking of that game, here's pavlich's scores compared:

vs GCFC: 24 disposals (16 K, 8 H), 7 marks, 5 tackles, 2 FF, 0 FA, 1 G, 0 B. DT: 113. SC: 148
vs RICH: 17 disposals (13 K, 4 H), 6 marks, 2 tackles, 0 FF, 1 FA, 6 G, 1 B. DT: 101. SC: 99

okay i can see the higher score for the match against GCFC given the differential in disposals and tackles. but a 50 point difference in points when he kicks 5 goals more in a low-scoring match. get stuffed SuperCoach.

if he kicked his goals late which he did most of them, when the game could have been considered to have been won by Freo given the Saints didnt add to thier score then he would have been weighted down where the scorers early would have been weighted up.

But hey, no point trying to understand SC, we all know the theory but we never know the scores till they go up :)

champion data people also play supercoach and so do their mates (they play just like us)

He kicked half their score FFS and 2/3's of the Tigers score! This was an absolute howler by CD. Perhaps the worst effort by them I've seen in 6 years.

Wow, I didn't know that. That's ridiculous, especially with SC scoring system which nobody really knows.

17 possessions and 6 goals in a game which Freo's team only scored 12 goals combined and no 100+ score? Surely his two goals in the last quarter which won the game for them should have given him a big boost. Never seen a standout, match winning player not score 100+ in SC.
