In years gone by it has been widely opinionated that rucks take a few years to get to full potential and slay out those premiums scores.

For Example:

Maric:

26 years old: Averaging 100 (6th year)

This year is his breakout year by far and it's in that magical 24-26 time frame. Arguably is could be just beinbg at a new club. But still.  :P

Todd Goldstein: 22 Years Old: Averaged 99 after averaging 76 in 2010 (3rd year)

Aaron Sandilands: 26 years old when he reached his peak, Averaged 95 (7th year)

Dean Cox: 23 years old when he reached his peak, Averaged 95 (5th year)

Shane Mumford: 25 years old, Averaged 91 (4th year)

There is probably more, but I think you get the picture. Like Berger as well.  ;)

Here are some that could fit this bracket next year.

Trent West: 25 years old. 5 seasons.

Will Minson: 27 years old, having a mini breakout this year I think. 9 seasons.

Nic Natanui: 22 years old. 4 seasons.

Matthew Kreuzer: 23 years old. 5 seasons.

Tom Bellchambers: 23 years old. 5 seasons.

Cameron Wood: 25 years old. 8 seasons.

*My tip is Kreuzer or Nic Nat to slay it.*

actually i think Hille will retire this year which will give Bellchambers a permanent gig, depending on his price i'll prob get him in next year as we will most likely be back to 2 premium ruck strategy next year think Maric will be the other for me

Nice post, I think you should include Sam Jacobs in that top half although he hasn't had a breakout year fantasy footy wise!

Next year I'm interested to see Broc McCauley, I dont know if Hawthorn can't keep relying on Hale and Roughy to do it all so I hope Broc has been in the gym doing everything he needs to do to get ready for 2013. He has shown this year, and last yr with the Lions, he can post DT relevant scores so he'll be my mid-priced ruck if he looks to be a starter and his price works with my starting structure

Bellchambers i think will be the best chance for a break out year

Goldy - NicNat combo I reckon ;D

If Hille does retire, means Patty Ryder'll get more game time as well as B'Chambers

I don't think Nic Nat's a dreamteam player. He has tonned up in every game hes played in (SC) besides 1 where he scored 94 but in DT he is yet to achieve 3 digits with the closest being 99. Will be a star nonetheless

He isnt that old tho is he .. 28-29 ?  .. i think he has a few more years in him if he isnt crippled by injury. Maybe GCFC or GWS will target him he might be a good option then

Hard question ..Nit Nat i suppose ... Jacobs. Redden,Longer and Lycett in couple of years

Ziplock

that's what people say, but the fact is, he's amazingly consistent. He's upped his averaged every year so far and just keeps on improving- and he'll improve even more as cox takes a smaller and smaller role.

But he is sharing with cox when nic nat improves resting up fwd will ave 110+

Mr.Craig

Given what has happened this year I'll certainly be looking for some value in my rucks. I'm liking Nic Nat's consistency over some of the other suggested players.

West as a smokie for me. Big O can't keep playing for too much longer and if he does play next year there js a reasonable chnace of him breaking down, incres=asing west's scoring potential.
