The way things have been on the downgrade front, most people will have to get him.

Where are the Puopolo's, the Mzungu's and the Smith's of this year? Downgrades suck this year.

Everyone is starting to up names of rooks with no real job security.  I get concerned that they'll play one or two bad games (ala Horsely - who we all thought was a lock) then be dropped.

The post in AFL.com highlights the imminent return of Pick 4 from a few years ago, Anthony Morabito (most likely after Fremantle's round 12 bye).  A couple of full games in the WAFL are the only thing holding him back.

Freo have blooded a heap of youth this year, and I cannot see Lyon (as boring as he is) holding back on a player taken so high up the pecking order. 

This leads to question...  Are you better off taking a punt on players that haven't even been named yet?  Rather than the ones that are currently getting games but have zero rapts on them pre-season.

Im speaking the likes of Morabito, Clifton, Miles, Docherty, Mitchell etc.  Sure they could still be a few weeks away.  but if you have other bench players playing and are in need of a downgrade player, it surely isn't a stupid idea.... surely.

If you really need the cash and still think you can win your games then go for it, I was even considering doing the same thing with Couch, but needed points so went to Marley Williams instead. Hope that helps :)

mmm price tag is a worry..
especially when i have guys like Ellis, C.Smith and Hall not reaching the prices i had hope before downgrading/upgrading
