Valk expertly called it a couple of weeks back and to be honest (despite flowering up my DT for the byes) I am glad to see him dropped.

Went to the Freo match last week and S.O.F.T was the only way to describe him.

Do we think this will be a long term omission or is it more a 'wake up mate, everyone has to play for their spot in the side no matter how long you've been a regular' kind of thing?

nobodies job should ever be safe anyone should be dropped if they play badly or dont do their job well enough

He needs to learn how to play hard man on man.  Until he can do this then I dont think he should be in the side.  Everyone can get out the back and get cheap kicks - and he is a good kick - but in todays game you have to be accountable and at the moment he isnt.

McPhee for Duffield is a good change IMO

He has never had a problem getting the ball and kicking well - I am more interested to hear how he went 1 on 1 defensively as this is where I believe his deficiency is.

I see. Yeah I agree, would like to see some highlights or replys or somethign before I pass judgement. Did he play in the middle? Bit harder to judge of he did.
