Who to pick out of Sexton, Marley and Elliot?

Sexton, Marley or Elliot?

Sexton (would prefer his bye, better JS?)
10 (38.5%)
Marley Williams (cheapest, maybe okay JS, but lose DPP link)
12 (46.2%)
Elliot (cheap, keep DPP, bad JS for both this week and Rd. 13)
4 (15.4%)

Looking to downgrade D. Smith (currently in the forward line, and would prefer to trade him out there rather than swapping him with Zorko in the mid's and losing the DPP link) and well as upgrading Horsley to S. Mitchell, and sidewaying Lewis to Franklin (a week to late may I add!).

My question is, who would be worth bringing in to downgrade? If I want to bring Marley in, I'll be forced to lose my DPP link, and then will still be copping a doughnut next round anyway (and possibly in Rd. 13 due to his JS). If I go with Elliot, I risk copping either a sub affected score or getting ziltch, not to mention the risk of him not playing come Rd. 13.

However, if I go with Sexton I will lose 40-50 k compared to the other two, but I will possibly gain that back in his price rises over the next two weeks, and will be bringing in someone who is a lot more likely to play over the next two weeks (which are my priority at the moment, as my league 13 opponent is the weakest).

Really tough decision for me, but at the moment I'm leaning towards Sexton, despite his price rise.

The question is, how does everyone see his job security being, and his scoring potential compared to the two Collingwood boys? Are there any other options I could go with? Should I just cop the extra doughnut and hold onto Smith? (my league opponent is fairly strong, but there is a chance I could still win this week).

Cheers guys (will cheer for responses!).

sexton avg 48, no scores over 61, yuk yuk yuk dont go there

i think Elliot should hold his spot, Ugle Seedsman and Young should go out before Elliot

i've only done horse to sexton this week. i'm sitting pat

Heh, currently 3 votes for each of them... if it wasn't for the fact I'd lose the DPP I'd probably go with Marley. That and the fact that my opponent next week is quite strong with only one out in the back and forward line (don't you hate it when your league opponents are stacked with players in certain byes, just not the week you play them!), although he has Sandi out vs Cox who I will bring in next week for Hmac, and has 3 premium mid's out that week too... hmm perhaps I can afford to cop a doughnut in the mid's!

Do you really think Elliott has decent JS? He is listed on the extended bench... might be a sub candidate?

what about him and Williams? Who do you think will be first to go out of those two?

Hmm... most people seem keen on Williams, thinking that perhaps dumping Horsley and Jmac might not be such a bad idea... keeping D. Smith over Jmac might not really be that bad of a decision, as Smith is probably a lot more likely to play from here on out, and has a similar B/E and scoring potential...
