7 PREMO MIDS?

With Priddis nearing a straight swap price is anyone considering getting him & having 7 premo mids? Apart from burning a trade deciding which to bench would suck for sure but it would be nice to have premo mid injury cover. Obviously downgrading a rookie mid would create good cash but I am struggling to go past the Priddis price tag  ???

its smarter in my opinion to have a really strong forward mid, so he can be your 7th mid aswell as being your 8th forward. So getting in a guy like zaharakis is a better buy.

It is a good idea I had Bartel last year and he wasnt that great but rather than trading him out I used him as bench cover for byes and resting it works great.
Like Holz said tho it would work better with a DPP player.

i like the concept, but think use your trades to upgrade every line to premo status first, then how many have you got for LTI's for the run home to finals.

Its a luxury i supose, if you can afford to use the trades and money go for it. If i have enough trades, i will move my F7 WhiteX to the bench and bring in Dangerfireld. that way if a fwd is rested/injured, WhiteX to the field. If a mid is rested/injured, one of Martin/Beams/Sidebum/Chappy to the midfield and WhiteX comes on in defense. But before i do this i nead Boyd, Thommo/Watson, and Waters in my team to make the only non premos Hargrave and WhiteX.

Thanks for the advice. I only actually have 5 premo mids atm but I have set aside a spot for Thompson. I might just get Priddis & can the Thommo plan  :(  I just needed to be set straight lol, god knows I have other areas of my team that are in need of repair

When your teams set, just hold trades so when or if u do have an injury to say a Pendles etc u can straight swap to another gun instead of a 90+ mid, I wouldn't be doing it

do you have 7 premium forwards?

I would look at chappy, beams, sidebbtom, stevie J, robinson to put into your midfield for now they should all outscore priddis. If you dont have beams or sidebottom i would definately bring them in, good news sidey will drop in price.

In most cases yes, but in my case i have Jarryd Roughead, who i can use as my 3rd ruck and 8th fwd, so picking up a guy like Priddis is on my radar. (Although i'm looking at Jack Steven or Nathan Foley to fill that role.

while he isnt scoring massive, i am thinking if trades permit i will bring in stevie J and bump martin to the bench instead of ousting him this means i have good mid forward coverage as JS is not an issue and well his scores are ok as cover
