Hey, interesting idea just popped into my head.
Should i trade Horsley>Swan?? Have plenty of cash to spare.

Reasoning is I'm still in the Eliminator and at this point, i think i am down one player. Plus i doubt Horsley will play next round anyways, so I actually save a donut. And even if he does play, he'll probably lose cash, and if i do it i get Swanny's extra score. Only problem is Swanny might drop a bit, $590k is quite a lot. (i have 450k cash, the trade costs $290k.

Is the trade worth it? Even if I'm not caring about the Eliminator, is it still worth it?
I did this quickly, so tell me if theres any mistakes in there.

Yes definately worth it doesnt matter what a players BE is if they are a keeper. Could have a huge game this week.

Didn't think of it before, but do you think Swanny will be a bit shaky coming back from a rest??

i dont think he will be 100% thats the only thing stopping him from making him captain, he is playing melbourne so even at 80% he could score 140.

1) Cogs ---> Swan + 13K. Hold Pendles and save a trade
2) Cogs ---> Swan and Pendles ---> Mitchell + 78K
3) Cogs ---> Stanton and Pendles ---> Watson + 24K

gday Holz just wondering what your thoughts on mackie are?? playing around with my team i can cut it down from 3 donuts to 1 this week if i go scotland to mackie and and horsley to ablett

Im not sure if you know this but mackie was my super smokie pick i told everyone to get when he was 300k. at 355k I dont know he isnt that great value and he wont average like a true back premium. I saw the adelaide v gellong game and they tagged mackie and enright to death im worried that other teams will start doing this as it was really effective.

Is definately not a bad pick and if it lets you get Ablett than its worth it just for that, but will getting in Mackie this week just cause a donut next week. To be honest im not a huge fan of enright anymore would rather a guy like grimes. Not a bad move but be prepared for a 80 average for the rest of the season.

Maybee go to a rookie instead if you want to drop scotland.

I knew somebody had talked him up but didnt realise it was you, nice smokie you found, used to ave high 80's and if you got him in for that 300k good work

Yeah, wasn't gonna put him captain anyways though, with Pendles out the risk is probably greater. Just wondering if it would be worth with the risk of not firing...
I put the big Capt on Ablett anyways. Too risky with Swan as with Pendles out, he'll get the McKenzie/Magner whatever tag. Even with the tag, he should dominate but that's still two risks. Could potentially reduce his score anyways, even if he does get a ton, probably won't be 150. Just a bit too risky...
I'm sure he'll still fire though, but I'm against putting him Captain.

I hope it all goes well, iactually would love him in my team. But i forgot about my own advice I wanted both him and grimes a few weeks back but forgot about them. Lets hope people dont tag mackie and he averages 90+

Stanton for me, I just cant go past his huge scores. If he can throw in a big one once in a while he will outscore Watson.

you cant tag swanny he has killed much better tag than that. Colingwood are that good you cant just focus on swanny thomas, sidey and beams are pretty dangerous. Sidey got a hard tag last week and it worked they might try and stop him instead or thomas knowing you cant touch swan. The only thing of worry is his fitness. They wouldnt play him if he wasnt alright im almost going to put him captain. Definitely low risk of having a bad game.
