Horsely > M Williams only or also use a 2nd trade for D Smith > Stanton?

it depends if going smith to stanton will hurt you next week. If it just means you get one less donut this week and one more next week go ahead, stnaton could have a huge game this week. If it saves you a donut than definitely do it.

Thinking on the Stanton trade, who would you prefer, Stanton or Watson or hold the trade for Swan's price to drop next week or R13?
(This would leave me with 8 trades)

I would wait for Swanny, Stants has the potential to kill it but we all know swan will.

Thanks for the help Holz, a cheer for your troubles! ;D

gday Holz just wondering what your thoughts on mackie are?? playing around with my team i can cut it down from 3 donuts to 1 this week if i go scotland to mackie and and horsley to ablett

cheers

Im not sure if you know this but mackie was my super smokie pick i told everyone to get when he was 300k. at 355k I dont know he isnt that great value and he wont average like a true back premium. I saw the adelaide v gellong game and they tagged mackie and enright to death im worried that other teams will start doing this as it was really effective.

Is definately not a bad pick and if it lets you get Ablett than its worth it just for that, but will getting in Mackie this week just cause a donut next week. To be honest im not a huge fan of enright anymore would rather a guy like grimes. Not a bad move but be prepared for a 80 average for the rest of the season.

Maybee go to a rookie instead if you want to drop scotland.

they seem to score pretty much the same but I would lean slighty towards birchall, just becasue he always seems to find a way to get a 80+ score.

Hi Holz,

What are your thoughts on Crozier and Williams JS.

Thinking of going:
Walsh (don't ask)---> Williams/Crozier/someone else?.
Horsely--->Ablett

Tenfold

Redden or Stephenson on field?

LF

Thanks Holz another cheer for you

dont rate either JS, I would probably say williams is marginally safer (at least for the short term). Freo seem to have to many ins and outs for my liking and moribito might be back soon.

for mid rookies i would go 1. Sexton 2. Williams 3. Crozier

thanks for the help Holz ! I'm only going for league, but trading Pendles could send me right up the rankings. Feel that Option 2 is better in the long run, given Pendles is going to be out for anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks, and it could drag right out.

Just seen that I can do two things by trading Pendlebury though - get Swanny and Mitchell + 80K, or go Stanton and Watson + 24K
or thirdly I could just trade Horse and Cogs to Sexton and Swan/Stanton/Watson and hold Pendles.

I really have no idea :P you're saving my a** mate

Everyone is saying Redden, but someone brought up a good point Redden has never gone over 70, wheras the Big O has 3/5 70+ scores.  However Redden playing hawks probably wins it for me. Redden for Safety the Big O for possibly reward.

sitting on 7 donuts with 12 trades left. not totally committed to trading scotland cos i know that when he is playing he is a top 3 back. Scotland to Johnson/Birchall is what I'm thinking. Thoughts?

Dutchie64

Got the option to trade either Jmac or Horsley and get a premium mid in.

Everyone seems to be selling Horsley which I can understand but in my case I'm thinking of holding on to him as:

a. He has scored tons b4 and could do so again when he comes back fit
b. Jmac might play another two games and get rested again when I might need him most
c. Horsley would have more JS than Jmac.....again, everyone says he's dropped but he's only "rested"
d. He could be my M7/8 with Zorko for the rest of the year.

Would you or anyone else agree with this assumption or say.......nah, you're crazy and sell the Horse.

Cheers mate

definitely get swan and its a hard choice of going pendles to mitchell. As you said Pendles is anywhere from 2-6 if its 2 than tradign is a bad option if he misses the bye rounds and longer than its smart to pick him. based on that i cant really give good advice becasue I have no clue how long it will be. So that one is up to what you feel.

Birchall over Johnson. If your taking that many donuts your going to struggle for overall and for league you want to keep those trades as high as possible. If you think you will struggle to win some league matches the extra 90 points you get round 11 and 12 could get you important wins. The injury to scotland doesnt look to bad, the thing im worried about is i dont like old players with injuries they always seem to take a while to heal. I would do that trade as i cant see a fit scotland scoring that much more than birchall.

pinochio

feel like keeping horsely is the way to go....just a gut :)

pendles trading now my main tpoic of debate.....if i do watson or stanton???

thx matte!!
