Mr.Craig

Holz, what do you make of this -

Next week - Hargrave to S.Shaw
Following week - Adams to Chappy

The way I see it Hargrave has been scoring like a rookie the last few weeks and Chappy has been tearing shower up. It would leave me playing one of S.Shaw, Darley or Ellis as my 7th back for a little while but on the plus side I'll have a finished forward line.

I know it's a bit of robbing Peter to pay Paul and Hargrave is sure to bounce back eventually but I still see some value in doing those trades. Yay or Nay?

jmac/horse > williams/sexton leaving me with 11 trades and 500k and 2 donuts this round???

worth it??

im not a huge fan of williams but from what i hear he should play throughout the byes and if your happy with that do it. Horse to Sexton is a good trade as it keeps your strucutre the only thing im worried about with jmac to williams is do you already have lots of round 12 mids.

ye im now thinking just going horse > sexton...

solid trade right?

really good trade, i did it this week too. Saves a donut and horse will lose cash anyway

Which one out of old mac and d smith should I upgrade to Mitchell? Leaning towards Macdonald due to his failure to play strings of games.  I also have Zorko in the mids atm so the dpp link does nit need to be considered. Cheers

As you said Jmac has missed some games, however i would keep him as he will go up more in value and he averages alot better so I would rather him on my field during the byes over smith.  Its a little risky but its what i would do.

Thinking of making him Ablett. Will probably person out.

If it was a horrible injury they would have stretcered him off. It wasn't.
If it was a serious injury he wouldn't have been able to play out the half and would have been instantly vested. He wasn't.
If it was a medium level injury he wouldn't have been able to play so well in first the half. He did.

In short, it's a small injury. GET WELL SOON PENDLEBERRIES!!

*Yay for answering my own question :P

thanks Holz but I can't afford to get Chappy, Robbo and Sexton... my options now are:

OPTION 1 ($19.5K left)
Horsley ---> Sexton
Coniglio ---> Mitchell (or Sloane maybe?)
Smith ---> Robinson

OPTION 2 ($10K left)
Horsley ---> Williams
Coniglio ---> Robinson
Smith ---> Chapman

OPTION 3 ($11.5K left)
Horsley ---> Sexton
Coniglio ---> Ebert
Porplyzia ---> Robinson

OPTION 4 ($148.3K left)
Coniglio ---> Sexton
Smith ---> Robinson
  • Don't trade Horsley

OPTION 5 ($41K left)
Horsley ---> Sexton
Coniglio ---> Stanton

OPTION 6 ($252K left)
Option 5 + swap Smith to MIDs, Sexton to FWDs and trade Smith to Williams
  • Upgrade Porps to Chappy or Stevie J after Rd 12

What would you do there?

Oh BTW, don't worry about bye structure, I'll take care of that, thanks Holz!

between 5 and 1 for me, i really like the stanton pick and i think he will have a huge game this week but have to go with option 1 mitchell and robinson look both great value and your getting in 2 premiums instead of 1 so i would go with that.

Chopps

Holz, Morris & Redden Vs The Mullet Maric who scores more ?

nickstiges

#84
Horsely > M Williams only or also use a 2nd trade for D Smith > Stanton? (10 trades left, would be 8 if both of these trades)

I've gone

Pendlebury --> Ebert + 152k /Swan + 25k (got rid of him for Stanton in Round 9) /Watson + 80k

Horsley --> Williams
Treloar --> S.Johnson

sound good?  ???

horse to williams is fine if you think eh will play during the byes I personally wouldnt go stevie J he has been great but i would go beams, chappy,sidey over him. If you have all 3 and franklin than good trade.  I would probably pick up robinson for value. That is if you can get  a roudn 12 or 13 player.

It's still a 'broken leg.' Kind of.

But the only person I'd trade him out for is GAJ. I got Thomas from Horse BTW.

I really like it you save 2 donuts and grave hasnt been peforming up to the level you want and chappy is a superstar. It also puts you in a postion that you can bring in carrazoo as your 7th back for cheap after he comes back.

Be prepared to pay quite abit extra for chappy he has a low BE and i expect him to be up around 30k by round 13.

Mitchell would be my 6th premium mid, meaning I will have no Stanton, no Swan and no Watson unless injury strikes. Really wanted one of those three by the end of the year. Would it be better off getting option 2, as I'm still getting 2 premiums as well as leaving space for a 6th mid? You're a legend for this Holz
