Holz, would you trade Lewis? Going to cost me two donuts, and has been under-performing. If so, for who?

My current forward line:
Sidey, Beams, Buddy, Robbo, Zaha, Lewis, Porplyzia (Adams, Hall).

(also have Zorko and Sexton as DPPs).

I went lewis to sexton, i would have straight swapped him if i had the cash do you have any money to spend there isnt much around his price only cloke and didak and i dont have much confidence in them. If you could afford to go up to a stevie J or chappy that would be great.  Chappy would be my pick.

lots of good options considering i would recomend doing the trade at round 13 to save a donut that would mean not getting a round 13 guy like birchall. So for me your options are Waters, Grimes, Shaw and Heppel. Waters is probably the safetest as he keeps pumping out big scores. Shaw has the potential to score the most out of the 4. Heppel will be cheapish if he plays this week. Im a huge grimes fan but he is a risk and its probably better to go a safe option.

Depends a little on how heppel and shaw come back from injury but if you can get waters he will be a good pick. As he is comign back from suspension not injury. If you want to trade this week i would go birchall or grimes but you will be getting a donut by doing this so wait 2 weeks.

I have PAV and im dispointed in him, Lyon is stuffing him up. Didn't see you had danger missing from your forward line he isnt as good in my opinion but if you want the cash in the bank he is still a great pick. You have beams  and sidey so you dont need chappy.

My team has been flying. Ranked 105th overall 386 off the leader. Was set up for the byes. But Unfortunately my team has been ravaged by suspensions and injuries losing pendles scotland waters.

Proposed r11 trades
Out-> Scotland, Pendles, Couch
In-> J.Revolt, mitchell, sexton

this will limit me to 1 donut if horse, smedts play

Proposed r12 trades
Out-> Smedts, Morris, horse
In-> Darley, Shaw, any round mid/forw (undecided prob rook)

predict 1 donut for waters

Proposed r13 trades
Out-> Ellis, J.Revolt(profit 60k), tuck/martin
In-> shaw/grimes, stevie j, swan

predict 1 donut


Doing this though would leave me with only 2 trades left though and id have Zorko/treloar and lake as my f7 d7. What are your thoughts? Also playing in a cash league so if i do this i pretty much probably not a chance to win it.

Now Im hearng that some people are saying pendles will be back after the bye, im not sure about that I kept Swan and Ablett but im more nervous about pendles. What i will be doing with him probably wont help you i have pendles, swan,sewlood and my plan at the start of the season was to go Selwood to Boyd round 11 but now im going Pendles to Boyd and im going to cop a donut this week.

Now for most people there not in a situation like this, i would say if your really high in the ranking than you probably will have to drop pendles as i cant see him playing during the byes and those 2 donuts will hurt. If you bring in Stanton that's gaining you 200+ points.

If your ranked inside the top 1000 i would say trade him, if you dont have ablett or swan i would say trade to them even if your not in the top 1000.

hmm this is really dificult as your really high ranked. You cant affford to go through 9 trades in the byes and leave yourself with 2 becasue you are sure to get more than 2 injuries and that will cripple you and if you have zorko and trealor as your 7th best forward i dont think you will have enough firepower to win the car and you will get killed in the league.

Im not sure if you want to do this but you may want to focus more on league becasue with the lack of trades and still having guys like couch i cant see you winning the car.  Your using 9 trades and your only getting 2 real upgrades and 2 slight upgrades.

Getting in reiwoldt than trading him out is a bad idea. Would need to see the complete team to give proper advice but I would suggest maybee 5 trades in the byes and copping 4 extra donuts. You want at minimum 6 trades after the byes.

if you dont really care about league and you want a good ranking i would go to stanton, it is a risk but if he can pump out some huge scores again he could make you 200-300 points during the byes over those who keep pendles and that can pull you up the rankings. Or you could bring in mitchell if you dont have too many round 13 mids. Mitchell is priced very cheap and maybee upgrade to stanton round 13 as he will likely come down in price.

Yeah im really in 2 minds what to do. If i could be certain pendles was only out for 2 weeks Id hang onto him and cop 1 extra donut and save a trade there. Revolt has got freo and gws is in red hot form was just using him for a quick cash grab and extra points in those rounds. Even if i wasnt to trade this round id win my league match as opponent has 15outs. thanks for your advice ill take it on board.
