gday holz.. i am thinking of getting grimes in ??? is he going to become a top 7
defender?

I dont think he is becoming a top 7 defender in my opinion he is a top 7 defender. The problem with him is injuries have always held him back, without them i would say he would be a top 3 defender easy. If grimes plays unless he changes role (which i dont see happening) he will give you great scores. Is averaging around 93 from his last 6 games and i would expect that to continue.

Its abit of a risk but i got him last week and im happy with him until he gets injured.

Where do I go

I had it all working out perfectly would have gone Boyd to Ablett, and then Horsley to Boyd for round 13
I would have copped only two donuts for round 11 and it was all looking manageable.

Instead I need to get rid of L Parker (LTI) and Heath Shaw and Dane Swan hanging by threads
What should I do, who should I trade for LParker and and should I try to avoid some more donuts?

I might be abit trade happy here with only 11 trades left but I would go smith to sexton, parker to ablett and than hamc to sandi.  the reason being i think sexton will play over the next few weeks and you have too many cashed up rookies and not enough dowgngrade target so you need to jump on any downgrade targets you can find. Ablett is a must but i dont think you have enough trades to trade out and back in boyd. Hmac is out for a while and goldy is showing why he should be the number 1 ruck, sandi is the best DT ruck in the comp and saves you a bye.

drop him there is no logical reason he isnt playing and them winning a game only further hurts his chances. You cant carry him in the byes if he isnt playing this week you have to cut him.

In your opinion is it worth holding Scotland and coping the donuts that come with it(also have a Waters donut next round)?

taking donuts is really all about what your aiming to do, i go for overall so if i had scotland i would drop him because he is giving you 2 donuts in the byes and for someone high ranked those 200 points you lose can really hurt. If your going for league than i can see reasons to keep him, i expect him to come back and pump out big scores so if you just care about league and your short of trades keep him.

Its very similar to pendles except he is confirmed out for a while.

Holz mate great work again! I need a Foward for Smith, out of Chapman/Robbo/and mabye Cloke for my F7, any ideas?

well chappy/cloke v robbo depends a little on who helps in the bye. Taking that out of the equation, i definately wouldnt pick cloke dont get key forwards unless they are buddy when you can get mids. Now chappy is the better pick and has been great the last few weeks but robinson is undervalued. The only thing detracting from robinson is carlton are struggling and they likely wont be till their best untill carrots and murphy are back. I think its worth the 50k for chappy besides his 1 low score he has had 2 90s and the rest 100+ he is a true premium and probably wont let you down all season.

De3finately would trade in wailliams, you could go horsely to sexton if your worried horsely will lose alot of money. You could straight swap scotland if your worried about ranking but i assume your more of a legue player based on your team. With only 10 trades i would keep him. horse to sxton i think is a good move as it will give you cash to bring in another premium. If you could bring in Boyd next week i think that would be a really good move.

The beauty of the Boyd in out trade was that it saved a donut and didn't waste any trades, as Boyd goes out to save donut, and Horsely goes out saving a donut in rd 13

I have to hold as many keepers and possibly and HMac is covered, he will play out the year and I have cover in Giles and now Redden for the year so can wait a while, I dont want to have Giles and Sandi and Cox in the same team.

Sexton has already jumped 30k and is averaging 48 with nothing over 61, yuk yuk yuk

in that case would you consider upgrading bower instead? having darley and shaw/bootsma on the bench for the rest of the season i dont think is that safe.
