why do you need to consider, i am doing that exact trade

That was my plan, but I am considering trading morris out for him instead. Morris doesn't play next week, and smedts might get recalled. Then I will use the extra money to upgrade smedts to a premium defender rather than downgrade smedts and upgrade morris. Hope that made sense.

Yes but it doesn't matter because sam shaw is playing instead of morris. I should have mentioned that this will work for people who plan to upgrade morris to a premium. It allows you to potentially make some more money if smedts does get recalled and if he doesn't, then you upgrade him next week anyway.
