He's good and cheap.
But the question is will he play? Do you guys have any news? Will you get him next week?

I'm thinking a downgrade from B. Ellis to him then S. Morris to Goddard. I'll have to wait to next week because of the bye. Any news, guys? Any advice?

Thanks!

McRooster

Why did you not have Goddard already?

Ellis and Morris seemingly have better JS than Sam Shaw.

Will you be robbing Peter to pay Paul  :-\

Id trade morris to him next week. Get the price rise in ellis and trade him out r13

+1 THIS

That's the way to go, but I think due to the JS of sam you may be better upgrading BOTH Morris and Ellis (if you need 2 more premiums)  And do a downgrade in the FWD or MIDS to a new rook with better ongoing job security.

Don't ask me to tell you who, hopefuly that choice becomes clearer in another round for us all....

betch ya

yeah concerned bout JS

tbagrocks

don't stress to much about Sam playing, he'll play most of the yeah and most likley play finals, has been crows 2nd-3rd best def for two years

His JS may be good if he plays well. He looks to have Ottens spot atm. I am not sure if that is through form or injury. Talia, Rutten, Rielly & Doughty have played back 6 all year. Jaensch is back there with Johncock being used forward, back & recently as sub. There does seem to be a perm spot for a medium tall (he is listed at 194cm) at the crows. Luke Thompson probs another fighting for that spot but he hasn't played this year after 11 games last year.

nothing at the moment, but by that call I oviously know a little more about the Crows than you! and Sam will play, only really Luke Thompson would take his spot!

As a crows supporter I can tell you that he is very highly rated and injuries is the only thing that has held him back. Sam Shaw and Talia are the crows future backbone players and he will play every week if his form continues.

Currently holding Ricky Henderson and Andy Otten out the team and will continue to do so if he plays like he did on the weekend.

I think he has good JS.

That's exactly what I'm planning. Ellis, with a BE of 28, should go up (if he's not subbed).
And next week I'll also know whether or not he's playing (on Thursday).

No point in getting S. Shaw in this week... Waiting till next Thursday for me.

Bluesman

Won't Ellis' price rise be counter-balanced against Shaw's price rise though? I know Shaw has the bye this week but who else is there to make some money out of through downgrading???

samtheking

Sam shaw is probably the best downgrade option at the moment in defense, but don't expect him to play consistently, he'll only play against the bad sides if there's no injury issues.

MLS

As a crows fan they rate him pretty highly. Got the no. 34 jumper which looking at past jumper allocations (Dangerfield 32, Sloane 9 and Petrenko 23) means something at least.

His job security is reasonable, but either way its a trade to make next week at the earliest.

dillez

probably trade him next round, morris/ellis to shaw, horse to thompson :)
