Giraffes and Elephants are big... and don't have anything to do with footy or this thread...

12 trades
$139,700
Backs: Deledio, Goddard, Birchall, Hargrave, Heppell, Waters, Darley (smedts, morris)
Mids: Ablett, Swan, Pendles, J.Selwood, Boyd, Horsley (McDonald, Kennedy)
Ruc: Sandilands, Giles (redden, Stephenson)
For: Beams, Sidebottom, Martin, Franklin, Robinson, Zorko, Smith (Hall, Adams)

Trades this week??? Wanted to get rid of horsley but he is handy in the byes. I could go Horsley to Mitchell this week or should i wait for Stanton/Thompson to drop and get them in instead rnd 13. ANY TRADE IDEAS WElCOME

Jukes

Morris to Sam Shaw next week then Horse to Stants? Just one quick idea.

Cicjose

i would suggest either downgrade Smith to a bubble boy and upgrading Darley or downgrading morris and upgrading adams to a Cloke or Pavlich

Darley's only had the one price rise, I wouldn't be losing him yet

Bombers5

What up.

I would personally wait for a S. Thompson to get a strong finish to the MID.
But S. Morris to S. Shaw is a good idea to do to earn $. I might do that, too.
:o

yorgis

tempting to do morris to shaw but you are adding another donut for rnd 11. hargrave, waters ,darley and maybe even heppell

if he's not named

yorgis

besides, shaw 's not even playing this week. do it next week

They said next week?

There's a certain West Coast supporting Veteran Coach who is always prepared to stick his neck out like a Giraffe...I thought this thread was about him  8)

Are you sitting on the fence this week LE with bye trading.. Or is it time to get a new fence  :P

My eyes remain on my main league, tough opponent, as it stands, 5 v 6 donuts - I may only sideway/upgrade one mid to offsett too much hurt.

Rockliff to Stanton.

I'm probably looking at this:
Rnd 11 - 4 donuts (with heppel, hall and smedts all playing)
Rnd 12 - 2
Rnd 13 - 2 ( if i go through with my trades of getting rid of Hall, Morris and Horsley in rnd 13)

I traded Hargrave>Shaw this week.

Also, you said Horse>Mitchell.

Do it. You trade out a round 13 bye player for a round 13 bye player.

You lose nothing doing that?  ;)

egosbar

well you do if you dont want too many donuts round 13 , im playing horse and the getting stanton after his bye , extra player in 13

My only concerns with doing that are:
1. Mitchell might keep playing crap
2. With Thompson/Stantons high BE i'm thinking of waiting till rnd 13 and trading in one of them (or thompson next week) as they will be stronger to finish off my mids.
3. I can't think of a third....
