Its his tibia mate. And the bone behind the tibia is called the fibula. Easy way to remember if you like human bio is that the muscle at the front of the shin is called the anterior tibialis (ie; in front of the tibia)  ;)

Hoping he's back after the bye coz I don't have Swan!

How is that an easy way to remember? Tibia- Big like libia = biggest bone. Fibula - Feable = Smaller bone. That way is much easier

bundyboy

got to miss this week plus bye...and if swan back, and pies play like they have been, then they will give him at least another week..

why risk an absolute gun one or two weeks too early when you must have him for finals time...bucks ain't going to take the risk..

I dunno actually its just how I remember it. There's no muscle with 'fibula' in it's name so that's just how my brain works I guess  :P
How is a bone fracture supposed to heal in 2 weeks anyway? I'm suspicious....

Yeh heard Doc Larkin say at least a 3-4 week injury

Slashers

Yea, Footy Clsssified had a recorded phone call they made to some medical expert who said definitely not this week and definitely not the second (bye anyway). Then he said only then will they know whether it will be a 3 or 4 week injury.
So sounds like 3-4 (maybe more?)

Im still hopefully he makes a come back in round 13 against the eagles, by then he would have had 20 days since the injury maybe thats enough time with the way sports science is these days he could recover fast never know.

Did bit of searching, i didnt know but hes broken he leg before and made remarkable comeback can he do it again?

This the article from 09 http://www.perthnow.com.au/news/medhurst-axed-broken-leg-pendlebury-in-as-pies-gear-up-for-final/story-e6frg12c-1225776540636
