Is the carnage worse this year or did i just avoid it last year?

It feels like i have had a shocking run with injury this year (my 2nd DT year). Not just a rant thread, How has it been for you? Is this worse than years gone by?

DT Ive had:

Fyfe, Goodes, Mummy, Sandi, Shaw (twice), Heppel, Ablett, Swan and now possibly Pendles.

My only saving grace was i almost brought Scotland/Waters in this weekend then reversed and brought Robinson in instead. Not so lucky in SC...

SC Ive had all of the above plus Murphy and Scotland. I think the only injury ive missed out on is Birchal lol...

I've had just about all of those players. Didn't get shaw and heppel, but i have murphy. The rest is the same.

Injuries this year have hit DT harder because it's our super premos that are getting injured. I think the number of injuries in other years would have been similar (if not higher), they just didnt affect us as much dt wise.

trades will be low going into finals this year for everyone i think. If everyone has been getting caned, and the bye rounds this year....

Its been absolute carnage this season for me as well .....  add Eski to the list too (hopefully only out for a short while)

This is why i have been reluctant to trade and have held guys like GAJ, Shaw, Heppell, Shiel, Coniglio, Goodes, Treloar, D.Smith. Only ones i culled early were Blease ::) Mumford and A.Kennedy. All which have been to better players. :D

Agree with this!!

We will see more donuts at the end of the year because most people are to focused on the byes or are not prepared to cop a donut early in the season & sideways trade.

People seem to forget the amount of player that get rested in the last few rounds &  need to keep in mind saving trades for end of season carnage.
