Alex Sexton played pretty well today and has looked pretty solid in the GC line-up. Devon Smith has hit the wall and I need to trade him to avoid a fwd donut next week. Should i pay 30k more for sexton or keep devon? cheers

If you don't pick up a rookie when he's on the bubble you shouldn't pick him up when he's risen in price.

correct unless its this year and its vital for your bye rounds. I will give an example in my backline I have 2 round 11 backs, 3 round 12 backs and 4 round 13 backs.

I know darley is a good pick but if I trade to him this round i would cop a donut next week. But if i trade him in round 12 for one of my round 12 players i avoid a donut for the cost of 39k to me thats worth it.

If he suits your byes he could be handy to grab, even after a price rise. But if you already have Ablett, Horsley and Hall it could be a bit awkward.

How about flipping Smith into the mids and trading in Mitchell? Fingers crossed he will break into the Sydney side with Parker injured

I agree .. i traded Shiel for a 130k L.Neale so i could upgrade Magner to Thompson ...  its heped my bye structure and given me a rook that is actually playing .. not scoring massive but does play and is going up in price. But i dont know if you can say Sexton has good JS ....
