Again i agree with what you say.

But don't you want your captain to be a super-premium, not a up and coming premium?? Sidebottom has proven he can average 100, but your captain is meant to average more. It like picking a midfield of Nathan Foley, Jude Bolton, Brad Sewell, Daniel Rich etc.. you're gonna get your good games, but you're gonna get your bad ones and they are only gonna average 100. Sidebottom should never have been a captain option ahead of Ablett, Pendles, Boyd, Thompson, Stanton, Watson, Deledio, Goddard.

There was no indication Sidebottom would score under 100 at all, he had a bad game and got tagged...

But ablett was never going to get a tag against the pies and was a shoe in for 120+

Pendlebury getting subbed sucks too...


Calvin is no wiser than me when it comes to picking dream team captains... His site just makes it easily accessible for people to get a second opinion.. AND he gives reasons as to why he thinks someone will do well to justify his selections!

So not only is Calvins opinion a SECOND OPINION, (your own being first) but he then justifies it with a reason and you have another chance to agree/disagree to his opinion by listening to his reason!

So all calvin does it get the stats for you, and gives his opinion through numbers!
He is no expert, no genious but merely a number cruncher!

Yeah, but to defend the whingers such as myself, even in your own analysis there, the difference between Ablett and Sidebottom was only likely to be 20 points or so... not 117 (according to the DT site, Ablett's score has been adjusted down by 5 pts... !). Add Franklin to the mix, and it burns, oh how it burns! (and not in a good way like Ronnie did :P).
