Hey everyone,
So this is my second crack at SC with last year a disastrous debut, one week i had 12 players on the field...lol
So in order for me to avoid similar punishment this year i figure this is a pretty good place to start.

Let me have it.

Backs ~ Enright, Hodge, Goddard, Kennelly, Suban, Hunt, Shaw
Emg ~ Shepard, Silvagni.

Mids ~ Pendlebury, Selwood, Vince, Morabito, Boak, Trengrove.
Emg ~ Martin, Shuey.

Rucks ~ Sandilands, Kreuzer.
Emg ~ Warnock, Prato.

Forwards ~ Goodes, Pavlich, Fevola, Tippett, Ziebell, Lobbe, Rusling
Emg ~ Tapscott, Gumbleton.

$12,500 in the bank.

Im open to any suggestions, although reasoning behind the moves would be greatly appreciated as im still a noob  ???

Cheers guys.

No Fev as i learnt last year. Too unreliable and idiotic.
You can trade him to Buddy maybe, or even Sylvia or Steve Johnson.
Also I reckon you can afford to start Morabito too, so get the money off one of the big mids and use it on upgrading a defender. Then pick up Bastinac or Blease on the mids bench. The top 3 defenders are good but no to Baker. With the spare cash from the mid downgrade you can trade him up to a premium.
Forwards and rucks are good though.

Lobbe and Rusling are unknown for rd 1!

Good advioce above....
Not a bad effort I think....
Just adjust accordingly to who is named rd 1

Backs:
I wouldn't pick Baker and Greenwood myself as both are taggers and traditionally taggers will not score many points. I would probably try and trade them for someone who runs the ball out of half back like J Hunt or N Malceski instead.

Mids:
Very solid midfield. No Ablett in your side is a massive risk though.

Rucks:
I like your rucks.

Forwards:
I agree with Yeahsup with regards to Fev. Fev is too inconsistent with scores. Get rid of Fev and maybe trade for someone like Higgins, Franklin or Sylvia. I wouldn't trade for S Johnson though as he's battling a hip injury and the medical staff are uncertain when he'll return.  Other than that, forwards are alright.

I hope this helps and good luck.

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

I hear what youre saying about Fev Yeahsup, Buddy probaly would be my next pick but im pretty sure hes MIA the first few rounds, also dont you think Vossy wouldve lit a fire underneath Fev? Prone to idiocy either way i guess though.

As i posted this i was wondering about Baker and Greenwood especially so thanks for adressing that guys, im going to look into changing Baker for sure.

Out of my midfield who would you drop to upgrade Baker? Im honestly not too sure.

And yeah Big Cox, no Ablett is a huge risk whats an option here?
Taking him and starting more rookies in the midfield? Ive seen a bunch of people planning on starting more than one rookie in the mid this year, think its viable?

Either way thanks for the advice guys.

I have Ablett but only need to start one rookie in the midfield.
In a nutshell, pick a couple of premiums in each position and fill the rest with underpriced premiums, premiums in the making and rookies.

good mate i agree with guys in ya midfield and a bit dicey down back yeah duffield had a good year last year will he repeat it? and yes baker and greenwood are taggers with give they will not score many points at all.

Many players are unknown for round 1, some risks need to be taken and there both chances.

Yeah, like pretty much everyone else i have a bunch of players i want to see in the Nab Cup before locking them in, especially rookies.

Ive made a few changes as per advice, theyve been bolded in my OP, thanks again guys, appreciate it.

A bit off topic but was also wondering about fanplanner, what sort of numbers do you guys aim for here? Ive just used it for the first time and dont really know where i stand.
