Sure in hindsight it was the wrong move to make him captain, but Definately not a 'dumb' one.

The plan was to pick him up and let him go up in value while at the same time pumping out big scores than trade him round 12 to Boyd, he is bleeding cash and i wish i could trade him out now but need to wait a week.

My plan for captaincy, sometimes is pick the guy who did bad the week before(sub 70!)

Then they almost always smash it the next week....

If they get a 70-80, they will either go bang, or flop again(depends on how premo they are, e.g. super premo it should be a one-off).

Plus, don't go captain because they play GWS(especially mids, beware!)
And Read LaHug's Captains/Calvin's Captains. ;)

Brought Selwood in for Coniglio this week... what a disaster that turned out to be....

Dont think he'll miss any time though, he played out the game and Geelong are up against the Pies next week, a game they will want to have full strength for.

Geelong play Carlton next week on Friday night at Etihad. Hope he doesn't miss though.
