It's a 4-1-2-3 formation...3 strikers.
Thats a shower formation though...  :-X

Hey hey hey hey...football manager taught me any formation is good if you get your best players out in the park!

And plus, not really meant to be a literal team. Just imagine...nasri fabregas rvp giroud and podolski as an attack force.

yeah thats not really how REAL football works though..

You might be able to afford to pay all those wages but then your defence would be shower as and you would concede as much as you score..

Johan Cruyff once said, "if you can play attacking and win 5-3 every game do it."

Arsenal really do need to strengthen their defence... I know of all people. The pain of being a Gunners supporter for the last few years... I think we really do need to clear out some of the deadwood like Chamakh and co, get some cash for them. I've heard Hugo Lloris is on the hit list too for us.

No offers have been made to Lloris

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1122515/lyon-chief:-no-arsenal-offer-for-hugo-lloris?cc=3436

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed the Ligue 1 club have not yet received an offer from Arsenal for goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Lloris has been targeted by several Premier League clubs since Lyon stated late last week they would allow the France international to exit the club this summer for around â,¬20 million.

Along with the Gunners, Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with Lloris. Arsene Wenger is understood to be an admirer of the 25-year-old, but Aulas claims no potential suitors have put forward an official bid.

"Lloris told me that he would like to leave if he has an opportunity to play for one of the five biggest European sides," the Aulas told Lyon's club website.

"If any of these teams make an offer meeting his market value, ¬20m, he will be allowed to leave. For now, though, I have not received any offers, neither from Arsenal nor from elsewhere."

Lloris joined Lyon from Nice for â,¬8.5 million in 2008.

Is Arsenal one of Europe's five biggest sides though?

I would have thought that Barca, Real, United, City and Chelsea would press claims? Maybe Arsenal over Chelsea... I dunno, depends what you're basing it on. Trophies in the last 7 year's? Chelsea. Trophies in the clubs history? Arsenal.

All depends.

Anyone else absolutely itching for the next premier league season?? I'm actually soo keen.

Good signing in Sigurdsson, pretty happy with that. A bit iffy about AVB though.

We would be smart to offload Modric ASAP, pick up Vertonghen and a new striker.

Not sure why Liverpool or Arsenal want Lloris tbh, with an aging Friedel we should definitely be pressing for a deal.

Europe's big 5 = Barcelona, Real, United, Chelsea and probably one of the Milan's.

Sell him I say and use the money to get Lloris and another class defender.

Few united-related snippets from my fb page;

"Manchester United are preparing to gazump neighbours City and sign unsettled Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.
Sir Alex Ferguson is determined to land the Holland star, who confirmed he will not be signing a new contract at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, as Sportsmail revealed on May 18."

"Manchester United are lining up a shock bid for Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente. AS says Llorente is a priority target for the Reds. Bayern Munich are also said to be keen."

"Today the English Newspaper “The SUN” has revealed that Manchester are closing of signing the Porto and Portugal acting midfielder Joao Moutinho."

You have Vermalen...

Him and Sagna are our only two class defenders. Koscielny I guess is slowly becoming that, but he's not world class. Vermaelen is on the hit list of Barca too.
