GWS might suck but they can defend well and dont leak many DT points, GC on the other hand give up oints so i would pick a collingwood guy over gellong any day.

Do you focus on mids first, forwards next and then defence generally when building out a final team? I know that all players can fluctuate and you may jump in across the board if a bargain arises, but i presume you'd build into your teams the higher averages first then look at defence?

i normally do my mid first as thats where the points are but with the byes I did my forward line first.  For me I try and forget about postion and buy players when they have hit their lowest. I got PAV as my first upgrade when he was under 400k  as i thought he was the best value, but my rule is if you ever get the chance to get a mid super premium cheap than you have to do it.

dont see how having spurr affects it unless you think darley and spurr might both be out and you will struggle. Spurr to Darley?
