Mate, I am sure you like yer Dockers 'n all BUT, its a dangerous road to go down. You have: McPharlin, Duffield, Suban, Hasleby, Tarrant, Headland and Ballantyne. Mmmmm, lets keep Hasleby and the two rookies and I am afraid to say but ditch the rest. The oldest rule in the DT book is to not load up on your fave team because if they lose, so will you!

Oh and Stephen Hill too is a Docker! Well Mark Harvey hasnt much choice but to play some of the rookies with all the retirements and Josh Carr departing. Which leads me to a querie. I have Andrew Foster as my intended mid emergency. Is he in the frame this year IYO?

Andrew Foster if fit should start. Will probably get dropped later in the season if harvey plays the new draft picks. Hill and him would be competing for a spot is my guess.

Thanks dude. Sounds like a plan to me to keep Foster until round 7 and then swap him for Hill (as per the cash cow advice on this site!)
The one that intrigues me is Ballantyne. I keep hearing he is ready to go straight away and is the replacement for the Wiz (but for the injured reports starting to filter in about him). Is there hype about him over there? And is it justified?

Ballantyne had wrist surgery, hasnt interupted his running at all so preseason hasnt been interupted too much.  Im hoping he will play 2 or so games during the preseason cup and we will get a form guide.

But at the moment i would pick him - FYI he kicked 75 goals in the WAFL

Sounds like a gun to me. The cheap forward options are never-ending. What with BTyne, Tex Walker, Yarran, JGrant, Sidebottom, Mitch Brown, Hentschel and Rusling it is hard to know who to leave out. NAB Cup will sort the wheat.
