deffinetly just being rested.
its really starting to drive me nuts this new trend of "resting players"
and of course they have to diagnose it with some absolute lie so that they arent seen as disrespecting gws and golcoast by just admiting they are resting players.
its off putting and whos to know what to do. i always hear people in football say that calf injuries always take 3-4 weeks so if that was the case alot of people would have to trade shaw but considering that its most likely a made up injury he will be back next week

theres no such thing as a one week calf injury though. hes either not really injured or he will miss a few. im guessing the not injured option

True but they might just be saying its a calf. I mean kreuzer supposedly was out with a knee injury a few weeks back. He still played that week.

nah, had Shaw in 08 (car crash), 09 (shower form), 2011 (TAB).. didn't pick this year, mind you Broughton isn't far behind.

Gutted for my SC team but pleased as a pies supporter. We are nothing without a rebounding backman like Shaw and may as well not risk him if he's got a niggle or give him a rest. I agree Clarke should score better.
His inconsistency means he's not a popular sc pickup but a gr8 pod for those of us who have kept him
